  • A web designer or digital artist (because it's what I went to school for) who eventually becomes a crafty/artsy old lady... I'm in the same sort of situation as you though and I'm 24. Everything else seems like it'd be interesting to at least try! You just never know until you test out anything that has potential!…
  • South Central PA on the MD line.
  • Went to school with a girl who had the last name "Nipple"...poor girl was called to office nearly every morning... Also, (this one isn't dirty, but...) I get to have the last name of Cluck. When my sister got married she became Cluck-Farmer...luck of the draw I guess.
  • Exactly what I was going to say! 1 Tbsp and a gala apple will run you about 150 cals which is awesome and you get a little extra Nutella left over to savor! You can also try it with bananas, but I think the banana sort of overpowers the Nutella. It's really good on whole wheat toast too! Tastes like a pastry.
  • You don't have to change your workout plan because it doesn't effect your calorie count until you actually log the workout. I think you've gotten yourself to a point where you don't have to change anything just because of a temporary injury. I know you run around at work enough to burn off some calories so don't touch…
  • I get that you are frustrated, but please understand. You posted the topic and asked "What would you do?" People are going to respond and give you an OPINION. None of us were there with you to know exactly what you are dealing with, but I'm sure everybody can understand getting frustrated and arguments never sound the same…
  • To me, it seems that this site is mainly for people looking to lose weight as well as lead a healthier life. Like I said before, there is the option to set your goal to "Maintain" and people are always posting healthy recipes, exercise info, and food ideas. I'm not saying that everyone is here for weight loss, but a good…
  • Make sure your settings are set for maintain and your activity level is set properly as well. Other than that, most tips people have are for losing weight around here...Maybe on your diary, add other items to track such as sodium, protein, and whatever else you would like and that will keep you on track. Not sure what kind…
  • I have all 3 EA Sports games (1, 2, and More Workouts). I got them a little out of order so I started with More Workouts, went to 2 and have yet to try 1. I really love EASA2. You asked about Wii Fit 1 and 2...do you mean Fit vs. Fit Plus?

  • I've been doing lunges and squats and I know this feeling all too well!! On topic though, I'd recommend stretching more before AND after your workout. It's helped me...I'm still sore, but I know it could be worse!

  • I checked this out yesterday morning. Thanks for posting! I've always been curious about it.
  • I like the Hillshire Farms Ultra Thin rotisserie chicken and the turkey. It tastes really good and I usually don't even have to use the recommended serving to make a good sandwich. I also use the sandwich thins from Arnold's and use mustard instead of mayo.
  • Not in DC, but on the MD/PA line.
  • Powdery mixes aren't usually my thing but I'll use them once in a while. Mio gets a majorly bad rep for being too artificial in general (not just for the sweeteners)...but I have to admit, I still love it! Sweet tea and mango peach are my favs so far and I like to mix them too. Just got the fruit punch though and I'm so…
  • Good luck! Any drop in numbers is success!! Keep on keepin' on! :flowerforyou:
  • I could pretty much say "this" to every post! Except for my local ABC station getting struck by lightning... Love the show and really hope it lasts a long time!! So insanely inspirational!
  • Your story made me think of this... http://notalwaysright.com/snobbery-just-wont-cut-it/11953 I'm a computer tech who helps a lot of people who should be at least somewhat computer-literate. Trust me when I say it's frustrating when people don't understand "right click", "desktop", or "start button" or they get mad at me…
  • Holy cow! That takes major skill!! For the gamblers: I hope you're winning at least some back! Photographers, crafters:  it...photography is something I take up every now and then too and crafting has become such a part of me! Aromatherapist: Your hobbies are so cool! We have a bunch of wineries in the area and I…
  • Don't put yourself under 1200 or you're going to put yourself into starvation mode! Especially if you're really burning calories with exercise and then not eating some of them back! I'd recommend eating fruits/veggies to get you through those remaining calories. Good luck, but be careful!!
  • What kind of bladder test did your doctor do? I've had surgery for urethral stricture which doesn't allow the bladder to empty completely. I felt like I had to pee a lot and every time I would do anything strenuous I would be scared of possibly peeing myself a little! I would recommend seeing a urologist just to make sure.…
  • As long as you've lost weight in a healthy means and you're losing to a good weight for your height, you're fine. Congratulations on what you've lost so far and keep up the good work the healthy way!! :drinker:
  • I only count things like cleaning if I really break a sweat and have been working for over half an hour. Other than that, it's just a simple task that's not worth it to me. I think it's really just about gauging the effort you put into it and deciding if it's outside your usual regimen.
  • I've had this same "problem". I started at the beginning of May, saw the first little bit of weight drop off quickly, and then just have been holding steady for the last 2 weeks or so. And I have a lot of weight to lose so it's not like the difficult 'final 10' or anything. Just like you're experiencing, clothes seem to…
