Contact local rescue groups or local humane society. Not all of them put the dogs to sleep. Many will work with the dog to be readopted.

The best thing to do is go to your therapy session. It may help. Take a walk around the block. It is supposed to get your endorphins going. Pray for your brother and your family member, and I will do the same.

I have an 8 yr old Rottweiler/Newfoundland mix (Bella) and a 5 yr old German Shepherd (Bristol). My husband and I should walk them more, but Bella barely makes it a mile, and heaven forbid one goes without the other. They are inseperable.

For lunch I have a 3oz can of tuna, (they come in packs of 3). I mix 1 tbsp light miracle whip, dill relish, and put on a piece of whole wheat bread. About 300 calories. feel free to add me. :happy:

My goal is to be down 50 pounds in 1 year. I'm down about 14.3, so a little behind where I should be, but still ok with it. You look great, keep up the Good Work!

I wasn't quite 100 pounds and 5' tall. That was 18 years ago. I was weighed at the dr.'s early Dec. 2011 and the scale said 202. I was 2 of me!!!! That kicked me in the butt to lose some of the weight. I was super skinny in high school, so my goal is not that. 1st step is to get to 150, and then I will reevaluate.
