  • you don't want to eat too little. and everyone's too little is different. 1200 is the most popular # only because that is the lowest MFP will calculate. i am a female 39yrs old and 5' 3" i started just under 200lbs. via the outside web calculator my RMR ( what i need if i am in a coma is just under 1600 calories. my TDEE…
  • 9lbs is awesome!! i glanced at your diet, and if you are logging everything you are not eating enough. while you want to watch what you eat to loose, you also need to keep your body fueled. your body needs a certain amount of calories for basic function, breathing, liver, kidney, heart. and the magic # is not 1200. that is…
  • you kind of have your answer right there, last time you lost weight.... this time you are doing the 30ds. your body needs fuel (food) to keep it going. if you are doing the 30ds and you are at the same caloric intake as previous you will not loose. your body will keep everything you put in to keep fueled. I'd suggest find…
  • 5' 3.5"- yes I still count the 1/2  39year old mother of 3. goal weight 140 currently 190 . lowest point was when I was 24 and 123lbs - pre-marriage and children. I look at those pictures now and I was way to skinny, thus the 140 goal and or size 6/8 I could handle a bit heavier if I am very fit.
  • drink a glass first thing in the morning when you wake up. then go about your normal morning routine. not only will it start your water count for the day it is great for your digestive track and gets your body going first thing,. also measure out a glass. 8oz is not as much as you think good luck!

  • Food Tab - Recipes- add in all the ingredients you put in the entire meatloaf, 1lbs of hamburger ect. ect it will then prompt you for the amount of servings in your recipe. title and save... there in your diary forever :drinker:
  • pre- marinaded Tri Tip steak (costco) spring garden salad mix with cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, fresh blueberries, raspberries and Newman's Balsamic Vinaigrette (family is having garlic mashed for their side, but I don't have any calories left for that)
  • I am not sure if I have any helpful suggestions, however I totally understand where you are coming from. I think it comes down to a mental decision and self control. most of us have lost this in some way or another, thus the reason we are overweight and on this site looking for help. it sounds like you may be addicted to…
  • @sz8soon Neve Campbell - Scream day's
  • Diddo- no tattoo's no piercings, not even my ear lobes
  • personally I wouldn't log it, I'd consider it normal activity..... especially as your heart rate most likely didn't increase by that much. though if you felt it was a work out I'd side with BUGTRAIN and log 30-60min of a moderate walk
  • AWESOME... great dedication I love seeing the difference in the Year mark photo in the same outfit and location- really showcases how much you've lost
  • Boob Job! after 3 kids I need to bring the girls back up to where they belong!!
  • awesome goal! up your protein intake and really hit the weights....
  • Dear Me, start eating healthy now... this naturally skinny thing does not last, and having no idea what is good for your body and never exercising or playing sports will only harm you in the end. it's okay to think your Mother is wrong----once you figure this out we are much, much happier in life. it's okay to loosen up…
  • I totally see where you are coming from, if you notice my profile pic that's a glass of rum and coke sitting next to me! Having said that you really do need to limit your intake. it super hard especially when you think of social drinking. the suggestions from everyone so far have been great, if you are not ready to tell…
  • LOL this made my day!! 3 kids I totally understand!
  • MFP does simple math based on what you give it as your weight loss goal... if you request to lose 2lbs per week it will take a 1000 calories deficit per day - the lowest setting it will allow you to go is 1200. even if that 1000 calories would technically put you below. MFP will give you recommendations however it can't…
  • Rum and Coke...... Pasta especially Velveeta shells and cheese.... my young ones love it and of course it's a regular I can't seem to go without a bite or 2-3-4 URGGGH
  • RMR - 1240- you really don't want to go below this # if you look it up its what your body needs for basic organ function , and with only 14lbs to lose 1lb per week is a pretty aggressive goal, .5 per week is probably more realistic especially with little to no exercise. slow and steady the weight will stay off, super fast…
  • 4lbs by Next Friday.....apparently Juice fast here I come LOL-- seriously another pound lost and I will be Happy
  • Holy Hot Woman Batman!! that is a great transformation- kudos the the Non Smoking as well
  • It looks like you are not eating enough. I get your BMR at 1533 per day. I would google BMR and TDEE. Fitness frog has a pretty good calculator and description of what each number means for you weight loss. Good luck
  • i DO need to drink more water for sure! im just going on the numbers MFP gave me. is that bad? [/quote] MFP will do math off the goals you give it---1lbs per week goal is a 500per day deficit if you have it set for a 3lbs per week loss it will subtract for you 1500 calories a day - one reason to keep your goal simple and…
  • a Male at 5'8 224lbs 31 years old I get your BMR at 2114 calories with a TDEE setting of little or no exercise at 2536. there is a lot of fancy talk about BMR and TDEE the simple version according to my brain is BMR: what your body needs to sustain blood flow, vital organs, breathing, brain activity if you were to lay in…
  • LOL- ^^^^^ YES YES YES- stalking message boards & people on MFP will keep you busy, and not really want to eat as you read success stories and hear others struggle.
  • perhaps just eat back 1/2 of your exercise calories around 400 or so and see if you are hungry later. I'd suggest protein based dinner. good chicken breast with perhaps a sauce on it. and a side salad with dressing or potatoes ( so maybe not the healthiest suggestion, but would taste yummy and with that kind of burn you…
  • First welcome to the family, you will find we around here Love to help :flowerforyou: your calorie goal settings look pretty good. I would suggest: since you are exercising adding a little more protein- perhaps add one more egg in the morning, a larger portion of chicken/meat with dinner- the calories will add up and you…
  • if you have your weight loss per week goal high it will give you the bottom calories number this program will go which is 1200. always eat your BMR calories and if you exercise eat most of those back as well, your body will thank you . and give up the necessary weight. I am: 5" 3" 180lbs 37 years old BMR 1555 TDEE 1866…
