can totally relate to this too. I lost almost 70 and now the last 16 are like NOT coming off. I'm going to try and be more diligent about logging and change my exercise routine to just running and walking. i've been doing some strength training and resistance work and it helped me with 3 pound loss.. now I seem to be stuck…

I got way more into how I dress, I don't freak out passing by shop windows anymore, I do more things with my friends!
-
I'm pretty much the same; maybe a little shy at first, but that usually goes away in an hour OR after a cocktail haha!

I started at 235 last January (I'm 5'6" tall), and now I'm at 168, so you're NOT the only one. And I know I've seen people with way more than that to lose. I'm always looking for new friends, so feel free to add me!

YES!! I totally know what you mean.. I even sing the song of "chicken and vegetables, chicken and vegetables." I get SO tired of it sometimes!! For awhile I was cooking dinners out of the "Cook This Not That" book, which is SUPER helpful and filled with awesome ideas for dinners around the 400-500 calorie range. I…

We've got the "Eat Smart Precision Go Fit" scale and we LOVE it! It gives you your weight reading, your muscle %, your fat % (booo ;) And I like that it gives you your weight in increments. (168.6), so you feel like you're making progress even if it's just 2 little points!

I would try an eliminate what processed foods you can, cause LOTS of sodium are in those foods which makes you retain water. Try and cut out sugar as much as you can. Apples are good for fiber, which will help with your weight loss. Drink lots of water. Oh and a good alternative for potato chips is the "All Natural Pop…

I swear, I think sometimes girls are out to sabotage other girls! It sounds bad, but in any weight loss attempt I've made (except this recent one).. one of my "friends" has tried to mess with me about it: either in meeting up in restaurants that have little healthy food choices, or making snide comments, or in saying just…

I totally feel your frustration, as after the first couple months of weight loss, I know average 5 to MAYBE 6 pounds a month! I hate that it seems to be taking FOREVER. I'm now down to my last 18 pounds! I would NEVER take back anything I've done this last year, because to be back where I was last March would be hell. You…

First off, I'm so sorry for the abuse you suffered! No one should go through something like that. I totally understand what you're saying about using weight as a shield-protection. I think I've been guilty of this the last ten years or so. It's weird how it works, because I felt horrible about my extra weight and it played…

I've struggled with my weight my WHOLE life -- since about the age of 9 (I'm 35 now). My mom tried to get me involved in after school activities and in the summer had me join up with a gym activity group for kids. I dropped weight at times, BUT it always came back eventually. Other kids/sometimes even adults would tease me…

Amazing transformation!! You look SO happy now!! Congrats!

top looks great!!! I'm in a similar position too! boobs usually are the first thing to go, but for some reason I still am in a D-cup, my band size went down, but that's it. Finding 34D bras is hard enough, for some reason I can never find them in the big stores here. I'm buying my FIRST bathing suit in YEARS this next…

Try not to get discouraged. In my experience whenever I've hit a no loss period, it's because either I haven't been eating back my calories enough OR I've needed to change up my workout routine. You have to remember that your body adapts to activities after awhile, you either need to ramp it up (intensity) or move onto…

Hahahaha YES!! I know exactly what you mean -- it's a total free feeling -- just toss them in and you don't have to worry about it!

SO pretty!!!

Add me too, if you would like. I'm 5'6".. started at 235, now 170.. soon to be 150, and then thinking of taking it down from there.. we'll see what I feel like. I've got 20 pounds to the goal!

I think Kim is GORGEOUS!!! That whole family though pimps themselves like nothing I've ever seen before, and with that I am SO over them! I tried to watch the show, but last about 2 minutes into it. I love looking at Kim though, and I think she makes a beautiful model!

What an awesome post! This was fun!

$120 a month for both me and my husband, but he gets a deal through his work -- the rest of the folks pay like $100 a month (!!!) which seems way crazy to me!
-
so proud of you!! that's awesome!!
-
I started at 225 and I'm now 174 -- I've had no problems.
-
I think this varies for everyone -- it all depends on what shape your body is. I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall and 174 pounds --comfortable in a size 14, but I can fit in a 12. I didn't drop a pant size until after 20 pounds at least.. BUT that's just my body. Everyone's is different!

I measure my stuff AFTER they're cooked. I figure that's what's going into your body.

who cares?
