If you were losing weight like this and you hadn't had the bypass the doctor would surely be looking at other reasons for your weight loss. I think you need to ask them if they think there could be any other causes and ask for a referral to hospital if they can't give you any answers. Good luck.

I am 34dd and have a couple of primark high impact ones which are surprisingly good considering how cheap they are. I have a racer back shock absorber one which I like. Might be worth trying a couple at sports direct. They have Nike and Adidas bit cheaper than elsewhere.

i've been maintaining for almost 1 year. Still logging, weigh a couple of times a week. Had my first week off logging last week and didn't gain but am logging again now because i knew i was starting to eat more sweet stuff and I wanted to nip it in the bud. Somehow having to write it down really helps me to decide whether…

running along the river and canals near my house is beautiful, i have been amazed by how much greenery and wildlife there is so close to the city centre.

I used to have trouble with my knees but they've really improved through doing more strength training, squats, planks, push-ups have really helped, also make sure you get the right kind of shoes.

i strated c25k in january and last weekend i ran 10k for the first time. I am totally addicted. I've never been on a treadmill though. I love being outside.
-
I ran 5 miles (8.5k) on Sunday. I started running in January and that is the furthest I've ever run!

I am usually within 100 cals of my net allowance every day. I still lost weight eating almost all of my exercise calories back.

I punched myself in the face during zumba last week....I don't think anyone noticed...

Wow Lauren, am almost inspired to take up weight lifting!

It is nice to know other people have this issue. I don't think I would consider surgery unless there were health implications. Sometimes I like to think of it as a reminder to keep myself healthy from now on!

Yes, I also have a 4 pack but south of the belly button is a different story. I was very overweight for about 6 years and also still have numb areas, I think the combined damage is too much for my skin to tighten..

I also have this problem, am really hoping after another year of keeping my weight stable it will be a little better. I do a lot of core strengthening and am definitely stronger, unfortunately it doesn't look much better..

She doesn't want to lose weight, she has a healthy bmi. She wants to lose inches. Running would help with this but not as much as the 30ds or other types of resistance/circuit training. To the OP, try to ignore the people who are being so negative. If you need breaks, pause the DVD and take them, you will find that you…

Been logging at maintainance for about 10 months. Am thinking I might have a break from logging once I've done a year. I'm going to take a month off, weigh at the start of the month and then again at the end and if I've gained I guess I'll go back to logging again...

Definitely agree with eating more and weight or resistance training. You might find you'll look the way you want without actually losing any more weight. I'mstill losing inches doing Jillian Michaels DVDs like the 30 day shred and ripped in 30 even though my weight has been about the same for the last 10 months. Good luck!

I'm finding maintaining just as hard if not harder than losing was. You don't have the little victory of seeing the lbs drop every week to keep you motivated. Feel free to add me:-)

40e to 34dd for me!

If you don't want to read all the stuff about tdee etc just put your goal into your profile I would recommend 1lb a week loss and then do a month of making sure you're within 50 calories of your goal for the day. If mfp gives you extra for exercise then eat the extra. Weigh yourself in a month and see what's happened, then…

I lost all my weight eating pretty much all of my exercise calories. There really is no need to starve, just make sure you log accurately. I would also recommend eating more veg, lean protein and trying to cut down on sugar and 'white' carbs. Switch to wholemeal everything, bread, pasta, brown rice etc. Good luck!

Wow! Amazing, well done. Inspirational.

I do 1000m trying to get faster but my favorite thing to do is swim as far as possible underwater...

Love swimming, take my kids twice a week and go at least once a week myself. I find it's really great for clearing my mind, never mind the calories.

skipping rope (jump rope) you don't need much room, it's cheap and burns 50 calories in 5 minutes, you can learn tricks and do it to music. I got one about a month ago and I love it.

I think brian is right. If I couldn't walk I'd go to hospital too. Also taking someone else's medication is never a good idea. Take care.
-
If you can't walk there's no way you should be at the gym! Sounds like you may have torn a muscle. I think maybe you need to see a doctor rather than a chiropractor. If you have an injury you're probably going to need to rest for a while but that doesn't mean you're going to fail! There may be other exercise you can do…

This. I breastfed my 2 babies for a total of 6 years. I was still breastfeeding when I started losing weight but i did it pretty slowly. Eat healthily, cut down your sugar and processed foods increase the veg, fibre and protein and get moving every day. It will come off . That 3lb is probably water weight, it's not going…
