my calories are 1370 / day and i have to say i find it pretty hard to stay under my goal! um how about this is day one? i went at the start of the year but due to leg problems i had to stop, but im offically back on the band wagon again! I walk 2 -3 time a week also, but not for that long, 30 mins usually! Thanks for all the suggestions :)

try icing after runs and lots and lots of stretching! i have a lot of issues with my ankles/knees and the stretching does help!

my fitness level right now is zero!:tongue: what i did today was ; 20mins on the threadmill at 3.8mph ( I'm short so thats as fast as my little legs will go without running haha) 15mins on the stationary bike 10mins on the cross trainer 10mins weight ( just dumbells for my arms) 5mins on the rowing machine I switch it up…

i made bruchetta lastnight and it was delish! its so healthy and hardly any carbs ( i love carbs sadly ) then i just put it on any type of bread i wanted! i think it stays good for a few days, handy to put in a little lunch box if youre going hiking :)

im thinking tuesdays for weigh ins? I think I've done pretty good so far this week, trying to get in a few walks, even if its not as long as i have hoped for! Im taking my measurements over the weekend too to see which i drop quicker, weight or size? do you allow yourself a "cheat day"? or a treat maybe?

oh how i wish i had this problem :( im around 5' and could easily eat asmuch as any 6' man :S

i gave asics! they cost me 115euro, which is pretty expensive but i have bad knees/ ankles and fallen arches so I needed proper runners! im pretty sure you can get some cheaper asics though :)

i would say work out but dont continue if it gets very painful ( as in where you think you might have an injury) lots of stretching before and after should help!! i jogged for 5mins one day as part of a 6k walk, went for a walk the next day even though i was sore, following day i couldnt walk :( but i know if i do alot of…

i dont know if this is any help but theres a marathon runner here and his advice for anyoen that wants to start running is to jog as slow as you can for as long and you can! track everything, good or bad!! it helps me to see my off days, things i can improve on and also what im doing quite good at! I see from my summery food diary that my dinners are good but my beakfast, not so much, so im working to improve on that and my snakcing :)

thanks for the suggestions :) The elliptical isnt a favourite of mine because it affects my knees, as does the bike (like i said, i have the body of an old old woman :P) Although if i went for a cycle instead of walking beforehand im sure it wouldnt be as bad, here's hoping :)

i find if i dont eat beforehand im STARVING half way through my walk! so i either eat my dinner early, then go for a walk about an hour later, and have a snack when i come home!
