I try to stay around 1200 calories. I try not to eat my exercise calories although sometimes I eat a little of them back. I have been losing around .5 pound a week. I am 5'1" and eat 1200 calories. I try not to eat back my exercise calories. I have a sedentary job and work out 5 days a week twice a day. 40 minutes in the morning and 35 at lunch. I am almost at my goal weight and have been losing .5 to 1 pound per week.

I workout in the morning before work and at lunch. Too many things to do in the evening. Working out is supposed to give you more energy!

I don't think so. I try to eat all my calorie goal, it looks like yours is 1970. I don't eat my exercise calories that I earn but some people do. It's a personal preference. Just glad to see you are eating more.

So, I went to the above link and recalculated my TDEE and BMR. They were both correct in my original post. I am only about 2 pounds away from my goal weight. Thanks so much for your help everyone. I think I have a better grasp of TDEE now.

I agree, you should see a dr. If the dr says its nothing, maybe you are eating too many calories? I was having a hard time losing, stopeed eating exercise calories, sticking with my 1200 calories and the weight started coming off. Are you logging everything?
