I am trying to lose a few pounds but mostly tone up. I've been doing Body pump 2x per week and Zumba 2x per week. How often do you do body pump and how long did it take to see results?

I got the Shape Ups walking shoes to wear while I teach and my plantar faceitis (SP?) has disappeared! Also, I thought I could never wear flip-flops again due to this condition but the Shape Up flops have been so comfortable all summer.

My laptop is acting crazy! I totally agree that I need to stick to the 1200 calories, plus drink more water. I'm sure a lower calorie beer is fine. I did read that the body digests beer as sugar plus most people tend to lower their food radar when they are drinking and tend to snack. Just my 2 cents.:drinker:

The moves in the Wii Zumba are similar to the Zumba dvds. I like doing those but I LOVE going to the Zumba class. My instructor uses all of the latest songs (JLO, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas) and incorporates more hip hop so it's really fun. It's so true...I've watched co-workers lose unbelievable amounts of weigh on Atkins and Alli, only to gain it back (plus run home to change their pants, ewww!). I've been making my own with a scoop of Jillian Michaels chocolate powder, almond breeze and a banana every day for breakfast. I hope it's good for me:ohwell: I had read that for someone with a busy lifestyle like me (teacher w/4 kids active in sports), extra protein would be an energy boost.
