It doesn't matter. Stick to your prescribed calorie range and eat to fuel your workouts. A slice of bread isn't going to make or break the deal.

Eat more. It doesn't happen overnight. You had to train yourself to eat less, now train yourself to eat more. But ya, if you're having problems consuming because of 'fear', best see a doc.

That's a myth. Green Tea & Hot peppers DO NOT BOOST METABOLISM. Some studies have shown a minor spike in metabolism for both green tea & chillis after consumption, however, it was only noted to be a minor spike and nothing permanent. Verdict – Metabolism unaffected. No food can speed up or change you metabolism permanently.

Since being on a diet, my consistency has definitely changed. It's gone from a nice brown baby, fully voluptuous to something that resembles string beans. Has anyone else experienced this?

What do you mean, what it's all about? It's just protein in powder form. It possesses no magical powers. If you need extra protein, consider this supplement. Similar to if you're not getting enough of a particular vitamin, you take a supplement. I prefer to chew my protein.
