I coated all cigarettes I had with hot pepper juice. You really have to want a smoke to put this to your lips.

don't listen to women, they lie about this topic. this is a game of numbers. It only takes one. Consider them practice girls when they turn you down. You do better next time. Soon you land woman. It happens, just be patient.

great smell

No fat chicks plase. Also, my wife is getting fat, how often should I tell her this?
-
Do you recommend chicken of the sea or starkist? Also, albacore is pretty expensive. Is it worth it? I plan on buying a couple of cases.

wtf curls UNDER the squat rack?? I've never tried this. I do my curls IN the squat rack though. I get swoled. I think curls under the squat rack force you to use your abs more! You'll have huge bicepts and a 6-pakc!1

I've not found any research that indicates that "too much" protein (whatever that is) is hard on healthy kidneys. Naturally people with medical issues should always see a doctor, but I wouldn't worry about it personally. But ya, definitely pay attention to calories first, then adequate protein (whatever that may be for…

Your goals are a bit mutually exclusive. Sprinting and endurance running are two different things. Training for one can detract from the other. That doesn't mean you cannot improve at both. It's probably more beneficial that you can last the duration of the game. So you might consider having a training plan where you run…

What was your injury? That seems pretty relevant to where you should start or if you should even start.

Abs are made in the kitchen. Tighten up your diet, not your workout.

I like to yodel. Did you know that yodeling can burn about 250 calories an hour? You have to yodel loud and hard though.

2% with hot sauce and pepper is delicious.

Have a plan and stick to it. The more you do it, the easier it gets mentally. Try mini bulk/cut cycles, like gain 10, cut 5 or so. Also, go for a slow, controlled cycle.

I merely asked for proof that it exists. I think we can say it doesn't exist because if the body can go into some "mode" where you maintain or gain weight when hypocaloric that you would never die of starvation. That is clearly false. So the very basic premise of starvation mode is false. Not having a closed mind, I've…
-
No joke. No one has provided any scientific evidence that it exists. Do you have some (please!) so we can put this issue to bed?
-
Where can I read these studies, please?
-
Care to back that up with some studies? I'm always interested in learning more on the subject. I've never heard of this before.
-
By saying it exists doesn't make it so. Maybe someone could do their homework and provide some peer reviewed, credible scientific research on the subject. Specifically, where the body begins to actually STORE anything in an extended hypocaloric environment. I'd sure be interested in reading the study.

Eating bacon and drinking beer.

You cannot spot lose. Weight loss comes from diet, not exercise. The old saying is "great abs are built in the kitchen". It certainly doesn't hurt to add an intense workout to your schedule at all, but don't be disappointed when spot reduction doesn't occur.
-
Seems pretty sedentary to me. You say you're "exercising", so I guess depending on what you're doing here, you could possibly bump it up to lightly active. In the grand scheme of things, it probably doesn't matter much which one you pick here. You might interested in:…

I'd still do classic. P90X, regardless of the program, basically alternates between a cardio day and a strength training day. If you're a runner, sub out cardio days (yoga X, Kenpo X) for run days. However, I would recommend keeping Plyo X. I was injured a couple of years ago and quit running for about 6 months. I did P90X…

I love cake too.

Incorrect. Nice try though. Google the twinkie diet.

From what I can tell, the people that are "being negative" are challenging the notion of 15 g of sugar being some magical metabolically superior form of weight loss. To state that there is something metabolically superior is disingenuous and misleading. No one is unhappy that there has been some success, but to go around…
-
Not really. Barring some sort of medical condition like a thyroid problem or metabolic syndrome, the vast majority of people respond the same to calorie restriction. Most people implement it poorly.
-
Any time you restrict a large group of food you've effectively implemented calorie restriction. So whatever trick works for you, knock yourself out. But there is nothing magical about 15 g of sugar. That's just woo woo.
-
Now we're getting closer to fact instead of dumb anecdotes. There are indeed metabolic adaptations that occur when calories are consistently ratcheted down for an extended period (typically months). A few days to a couple of weeks of maintenance calories (i.e. caloric equilibrium) can "reset" these adaptations making it…

This is an impressively ignorant thread laden with opinion and anecdotal evidence and not a shred of proven fact. The initial question I would ask, have you been consistently creating a calorie deficit (after measuring and tracking EVERY SINGLE BITE WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) and had no success at all? Second question, what is…

Those are some impressive milk stacks, ladies. I'd be happy for my moobs to go away too.
