C25K is the way to go. Bra's- I get mine at Kmart. Hanes something, lol. I buy one sup size smaller which helps to squish the girls and hold em tight. The stretchy kind just don't do the job. Wide band gives more support. Full coverage. I also got a nice bra at TJ Maxx. Not sure of the brand. I like my sports bras 'tight'…

I usually drink water before I run and none during and my runs last around 45 minutes. My mouth gets "dry" but I spit and it feels better. When I try to drink something during this time it just slows me down. Short runs don't require constant hydration. Your body has enough in reserve. Just be sure to drink after your done.

I kind of agree. I too am focusing on cardio and running and not doing any weight training. For me this works right now. When I lose enough weight I will throw in some weights. I also think the term "skinny fat" are those people who are skinny but have no muscle tone due to a life of no exercise at all. I personally think…

My first boyfriend married the woman he cheated on me with. No kids. I also hear his health isn't the greatest anymore. It all comes around with Karma.

I agree to SLOW DOWN. I had/have the same problem. When I try to run too fast my shins hurt and burn and my lungs kill me. I can't breath let alone talk. I actually have to gauge how I am doing by my breath and slow myself down. My legs naturally want to go faster then my lungs can handle.

Geez, I'm still working on running 5K without stopping. I ran my first one last fall then took the winter off, so now I have to work my way back up.

Please add me as your pal! I love to run but right now I don't get to do it as much as I would like too :(

Lots of exercise clothes, HRM, 2 pairs of running shoes, a ball cap with lights for night running, exercise DVD's, treadmill, and tons of healthy food. I guess looking at all that, being healthy is expensive :ohwell:

Desire, Life will go on! You will be strong for your babies and yourself! Heck your life may even be better. You can come and go as you please without having to check in with someone first. You wont have to make dinner unless YOU want to. You can have some "me" time when the kids visit their dad. And eventually you will…

I'm still trying to figure this all out myself. I too was set at 1200 by MFP and was starving! I increased to my BMR 1354 and I eat most or all of my exercise calories back. I am still waiting to see what happens, but so far the scale has "budged" a little in the right direction.

Hi, I'm Kim. I weigh myself everyday that I go to work. I am a nurse and we have a digital scale right next to my desk. Very easy for me to just slip my shoes off and hop on every morning before I eat. Sometimes I get discouraged when the number is up, but other times I'm happy when it's down. I only log the weight on MFP…

I prefer outside WITHOUT sidewalks. Country smells and sights are the best. I also run faster outside. Not sure why, but it's all good

Bump to figure out tomorrow when I'm not so tired

I too have considered wearing my new HRM all day at work to see how many calories I burn. But then I read somewhere that a HRM isn't meant for that. Who knew? But I too wonder if my BMR is higher then what MFP says and I was eating too little, therefore not losing. I just increased my calories a little last week and it…

I've struggled to lose 10 pounds and would like to lose another 10-15. I have played with different calories. 1200, 1350, back to 1200 now up to 1320 I think. I always eat most of my exercise calories back. ( yeck that's a BIG reason I exercise as I'm starving without more). The increase so far has taken the StReSs off and…
