  • I think most important point is alcohol is empty calories. If you look at the big picture, that will possibly lead to a less effective day after :-). Meaning, less quality sleep and less fuel for a good work out the next day.

  • try stretching out hamstrings :smile: before working out. I was having similar issue and realized that i was not stretching good. when the hamstring is tight, it can pull on glute muscles which in turn press on sciatic.

  • hi, what helps me are 2 things: 1) use training calendar, plan out your week of exercise, so motivational to check it off each day 2) if you are into running or cycling, or whatever sport you enjoy, register for an upcoming race! that will definitely motivate you!
  • Just completed my first half marathon (4/10), Iron Girl Clearwater Beach. Course had 3 bridges! Followed Hal HIgdon training program for 12 weeks, perfect training plan! It was great and now I have the 1/2 fever!!!
  • Just a thought, but I would eat more for brekkie and dinner that day, maybe just a bit more...if you had that alcohol, #1 asking for trouble on such few calories, #2 You will feel so rotten next day you will lose out on effective workouts! I say 1500 calories and no more than 5 drinks! ha!

  • hi Aiden, believe it or not, even the theme park menus always offer a healthy choice! We went to Disney in March and it was suprisingly easy to eat smart! enjoy the parks! as a resident we rarely get to go! have fun!
