bump for later

I agree.. I would say you need to up your protein and calorie intake to account for all the activity!
-
5'6'' and have been down to 140's, before weight training, and solid size 8 at the time... Now up to 152 with weight training, and still solidly in an 8... Its all about the muscles!
-
At 5'6'' and 32 years old, am 151 +/- depending on the day, and have gained 10 lbs since starting with heavy weights, so size 8 stayed steady as the scale went up,but things are much more firm... If i went to 145 i would be happy but no lower...

Sorry,. besides keeping on, I am feeling like I am in the same boat, and just need to play around with intake and really measure to make sure what you take in is what you log...
-
As well, i still am fitting all the clothes i was wearing 10 pounds lighter... and continue to have dietary issues due to what my body went thru last spring.
-
I do use my polar to count cals on strength, usually its about 250 for an hour workout... But I realize i burn more then that in the hours after so I don't worry its a lower number. I should qualify I got really sick last spring, and lost 15 lbs in 12 days... Then due to the nature of the illness, i could not eat normally…
-
So I am over eating by 100 cals a day.. COnsistently... Man my logging is way off then.. Time to be more honest i guess...
-
Bump for more feedback...
-
I totally get that. I do use polar to show my burn, so I do know what I burn for workouts... And when it comes to food i try and overestimate to a point, but if I am still hungry, I am going to eat something... I try and listen to my body, but i do know I need to change something up as things are not changing much
-
Thanks, I guess I better keep the deficit more like 500 cals a day, then straight across at 1800... Basically take my daily and don't eat back exercise cals, and days that I don't exercise, keep it a little less even... I have to say the 10 lb gain is over a years gains from weights as well... But obviously need to lock…
-
Thanks, I have been to a dietician too to help and dial in my bodies needs and such as well... I am starting to get frustrated as I have been mostly on track for more then a year besides a few days here and there, and stayin on track with workouts, and not seeing much changes, but will stick to this as I feel better doing…

Bumping as I am curious too!!

I loved Chalean as it focuses on weights, and in the three different phases, you focus on burning, so higher reps and lighter weight, then Push, where you go heavy on the weights, and less reps, and then Lean that brings it all together and more functional moves...

Wow! Love that so many are trying this workout for the first time too! I am currently just finished CLX, and continuing with Push this month cause it was my favorite month for workouts. Come January, I start P90X for the first time and hope to see some definition that i have been working towards for what seems like a long…
-
I start p90x in the new year, as i am just finishing up Chalean Extreme... I am pumped and now even more so seeing that you are noticing changes in the first week even! Kudos to you!
-
Thanks, this is what I figured, so I had decided when i start P90X to be super strict and eat clean, and follow the nutrition plan as close as I can while lifting as heavy as I can thru the program. Heres to results and seeing more then just the upper definition in my abs!!
-
With the Chalean Extreme i have been lifting weights as per the program for the last 3 months, and am doing the Push circuit again this month and actually going as heavy as i can for the exercises. So for me and being at home with my exercise routine, this is lifting heavy. doing 80lbs for certain deadlift exercises is the…

My calories are set to 1740 and since i have a Polar HRM i input the calories burned during whatever workout i am doing and usually eat up to that amount. Some days I allow more and others days less just to keep my body guessing as to what its getting too... I try and drink water often, usually don't feel thirsty. I get…

I am doing Chalean extreme with two friends and we are on the last week of month one. I haven't lost any weight, and not seeing major changes, but its only been a month. I expect changes by the end for sure! I have seen gains in strength as i started carefully in the first week, and added weights each week, i am up to at…

From what i have read and heard, when you are doing intense workouts, or even regular strenuous workouts, when you take a week or so off, its shocks your body again and tends to break a persons plateau, if they were dealing with one. Otherwise, your body is shedding the water it held onto to repair the work you normally…
