Thanks for sharing. This should be required reading for everyone who has ever battled their weight. Diet and exercise have to go hand in hand.

Thanks for the love. In a world where so often we don't encourage one another its nice to know we have someone rooting for us. God bless you and your family.

I like to eat Oat Bran. It is a warm cereal but I find that it keeps me going. You can put whatever berries you like or fruits. I try and eat my carbs earlier in the day so I work it out throughout the day. Also, I find that if I do not have any carbs in the morning I tend to get really ravenous for sweet stuff in the…

Welcome! Feel free to add me. My goal is to lose 45-50 pounds.
-
OMG. Never let anyone take your power from you. You lose the weight because you want to get healthier not because of him.
-
Hello! Keep fighting the good fight!
-
Like you my goal is to drop to around 140-145. The weight creeps up on you. Good luck on your weight loss! I am going to request you as a friend.:flowerforyou:

Hi there! Welcome to MFP!
-
There is only one other person that is of Caribbean decent on MFP? Wow! Where my West Indian People at?
-
Welcome! I too love Zumba. I have the game and my kids do it with me. I am always looking to make friends so feel free to add me.
-
I love Wii Zumba. You have to wear a belt thingy around you hips to hold the remote. It is so much fun and my kids do it with me. Mostly they dance and jump around. It has different classes with different levels. There is a workout schedule as well. I have not tried EA sports. At my local Walmart they have a Jillian…

Welcome to MFP! I started recently and found it eye opening logging my meals. I am looking to lose 40 pounds. Make friends that actually log in. They will be your biggest cheerleaders and help you through the not so good days. Feel free to add me, if you like.
-
Hello, Welcome. Your english is pretty good to me. Are you from Holland or Aruba?
-
The most important thing is to log on and record what you eat and when you exercise. Just doing that alone should wake you up.
-
Hi saw your post. What no one tells you when you become a mom is how little you take care of yourself. Its wonderful that you are taking this journey on MFP.
-
Hi! I live in Ontario too! You can friend me if you like!
-
I find planning meals difficult too. I often make the mistake of finishing off my kids meals because I don't like to waste food but that has done nothing for my waistline. I wish there were sample daily menus on this site from a nutritionist/chef to help give everyone a good head start. Even a shopping list of things to…

Hi there! Welcome.

Hello Danvel, I got your request and friended (if that is a word) you. Welcome! I have only been on MFP a few days and it is great!
-
You absolutely can do it.
-
I have Zumba for Wii and I love it. I haven't taken any classes but it is easier to do it at home with two small kids.
-
Enell? Got to check that out. Hopefully they ship to Canada and its not too expensive.
-
Have you ever tried going on Krafts website. Here in Canada Kraft Canada has a great website with a section on diabetes here is the link. Hope it helps. http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/healthy-living-ideas/Diabetes/DiabetesCentre.aspx And as the other ladies have commented try some weight bearing exercises sitting down.

Hello! I am new too. I find that the tracking what I eat really makes me accountable to myself. Having to see what you ate written down is eye opening.
-
We love our children, no question about that but I miss the butt of my twenties.
-
Thanks for the positive vibes. It is scary but I am spending lots of time with my kids so it is a mixed blessing. I joined this site to help lose the dreaded post baby pounds, except the baby is now 2.

I have found that the cheapest and best way to prevent the dreaded bounce is to wear two full support bras. No it isn't pretty but it works for me. I cannot find any sports bras in my size that do not cost an arm and a leg in Canada.
