You're a beautiful young lady and look awsome! Kudos to you for doing a very difficult job of raising your kids virtually by yourself. Maybe your husband is threatened by your weight loss, after all the better you look, the harder he has to try! Hang in there, it's all worth it in the long run...

To quote "The devil wears prada" I'm only one stomach flu away from reaching my goal weight! Hang in there whether it's a cold or detox you're probably going to start feeling better in the next few days....

I do the same thing but bake it in the oven for 20-30 minutes. The outside is crispy and the inside is creamy, all around deliciousness and I don't even like vegetables that much!

If you take half the calories and put them toward the next days breakfast, you'll realize you really have to cut down on the next few meals. I use that strategy for any food I eat after 8 pm. It made all the difference. Also, eating out with friends is something I had to give up for a while.

Yeah, I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day. The only meal that I vary is dinner and that's because I have a husband and a daughter to feed and neither of them has a weight problem. :-/ I could probably do better if I found something I liked and could have for dinner everynight, but I don't see that…

Oh how many things have I given up over the years. I'm turning 57 in a couple of weeks and every year give up some else yummy for health reasons. When I was 17 I lived on Dairy Queen and weighed like 120 lbs. I also road my bicycle everywhere. Unfettered eating continued until I hit about 30. Then I gave up pancakes and…

All really good thoughts posted so far, but I'll tell you a hard boiled egg will go a long way as a snack... Also, I really like hamburger and eat a very lean hamburger patty along with seasonal fruit (right now I'm into strawberries and pineapple) for lunch every day and it lasts until 4 o'clockish. I find that (sensible)…

Hi Amanda and welcome. This site will really help you keep on track. I was amazed the day I started to find I'd eaten 2500 caolries that day, I was clueles! So go ahead and put your food in for today. You'll get a good laugh out of it in a few weeks. I too was painfully shy when I was your age, my love of animals and…
