  • I'm switching back and forth between 2.5 lb weights and 5 lb weights. I use the lighter ones for any exercises involving lunges! And the heavier ones for chest flies and back.
  • I'd say do level 1 until you feel comfortable moving to level 2. There is no specific timeline on when to move up a level. Jillian even says in her intro to move to level 2 "when you feel ready." If your knee is giving you some trouble right now, I'd say you're not ready to move on. And that's perfectly ok!
