  • CONGRATS!! JOB WELL DONE!! 2 lbs lost is 2 lbs lost!!! :drinker:
  • Oh...we've all been there, done that I'm sure!! But the main thing is to get back on track ! And you were honest with keeping track of all you ate! It's only us we're fooling if we don't right??? Good for you!! And yes....sometimes you just have to celebrate the good things in life!! Enjoy....then pull up your exercise…
  • Well...a pound lost is better than a pound gained!! Hang in there!!
  • i kind of weaned myself off of diet pop, as I used to drink cans of it every day!!!! Now I drink more water throughout the day and keep one diet pop for my "reward" for a job well done in the evening!! Some days I don't even drink that one. Eventually you will only want to have one every now and then.
  • Well.....diet pills didn't put the weight on me, so I don't feel they will take the weight off!! Eating unhealthy, or in too large of portions and lack of movement did it. Sooo.....eating healthier and getting active is what is working for me. Replacing unhealthy food in your stomach with healthy food, sounds way more…
  • Soooo many types of teas out there!! I have found Lipton's green tea to be very tasty, but I alternate with a loose green tea too. :drinker:
  • Stevia is what I use. You can get it in powder (granules), liquid, or little packets.
  • Tell her the night before and tell her to set her alarm clock, because you won't be waking her up!! If she's not ready to leave when you are, then you can just assume she can't/won't/ doesn't want to go! You can't hold her hand all thru life! Love her dearly...but hold her accountable for her own actions!! Keep a visable…
  • I agree with some of the others here.....I think there's a bit of jealousy on your co-workers side, of your progress and the fact that you are succeeding!!! Don't ever let anyone stop you from succeeding!! You have done fantastic!!! And it probably shows....so the ones that are feeling insecure will try to make you fail!!…
  • Enjoy...enjoy...enjoy!!! Maybe do some extra calorie burning exercises early in the day and eat cake!!! Birthdays are special!! Just roughly calculate, with hubby's help, how many calories are in a piece of his scrumptious cake, and go for it!!! Happy Birthday by the way!!! :flowerforyou:
  • I like my sweets too, but I have switched to using stevia as a sweetener, and that has helped a lot! I used it in my drinks ( I like to drink green tea with my meals now), but I have also adapted it to some baking. There is a stevia website that has recipes you might be interested in trying. And I have gone to treating…

  • I am so glad to see I am not the only one who mourns the loss of a pet so deeply!! Yes...they are part of the family, and when they're gone, there is a void. I sure hope your pain will lessen quickly! Thinking of you!
  • Awesome, awesome job!!! I love the variety of before and after pictures and different stages of your weight loss too!! Good for you!!! Your story is an inspiration to me!! Thank you!!:drinker:
  • I've tried the fat free versions, but I just don't care for them....but that's just me! I ask for my dressing (ranch is my favorite) on the side, and I dip my fork into it, then stab my salad greens!! Works pretty good, and I find I don't put on nearly as much as I used to, when I used to pour it on! But I like the idea of…
  • Evening is a hard time for me too!! I try to nibble on a mini bag of micro popcorn when I do get the munchies and I allow myself a nice piece of very dark chocolate daily too!! Lots of water helps...but keeps me running to the bathroom! Which is a bonus, as our bathroom is upstairs, so added exercise I guess!!! I like to…
  • My weakness tends to be a lot of stuff!! I am terrible for not being able to even have a taste of something, because then I start thinking, well, you've done it now, so you might as well pig out and start again tomorrow!! But there have been sooooo many tomorrows!! But I do find if I am really craving something, I will…
  • I agree with the steel cut oats thing!! I switched a couple of years ago and I really enjoy it!! And yes, that's the great thing, is all the healthy, tasty stuff you like, that you can add to it!! Keeps you full longer and it's very good for you!!:drinker:
  • Sounds very good!! Kind of nice to be able to whip something up just for me!! Thanks!!:drinker:
