  • I believe the obvious and best solutions have already been stated.. 1) stop drinking/going to bars in general 2) don't drink at the bar at all 3) drink water between beers 4) only take enough money for cover and two beers - this I have found to be the best solution for myself, although it doesn't account for free drinks.…
  • You can do this! I ran my first 5k at about 210. I definitely couldn't run a mile without stopping. You just have choose a training schedule and stick with it. A goal without a plan is just a wish. Get out there and make it happen :)
  • I have never really thought about doing this. It's something I will definitely consider. I love clothes, but somehow I worry about spending money on something that I may not fit into. I guess if I like it enough I'll have to do the work for it. Thanks guys.
  • The structure of this site definitely helps me when I'm in the habit of using it. 1200 calories a day doesn't seem like much, but you can eat back your exercise calories if you like without causing problems as long as you eat somewhat healthy.   • If you occasionally don't make your calorie goal, that's okay. However, eating only 800 calories a day for an extended period of time should push your body into starvation mode.   • I'm not sure if it's all water weight, but some should be. I can reassure you that when I gain weight quickly from my splurges I usually lose it all in two or three days just by getting back in my diet and exercise routine. Good luck!
