  • I drink a couple diet drinks a day and it has not affected my weight-loss
  • Spike Diet by Russell Branjord I have it on my kindle!
  • I have tried everything too. I don't think any pill we take can make a significant impact on our metabolism. The ones that have helped me though are the ones that help me with my appetitie and maybe just energy. Like OxyPro Elite. Also I posted on another thread about 5a Hydroxy Laxogenin, I feel like it's helped me get…
  • I've had great results with Laxogenin. It works by limiting cortisol, and increasing metabolism without a stimulant. The proper name is 5a Hydroxy Laxogenin. Of course I stick to my diet plan and exercise but adding the Laxogenin to my program has made it almsot fool proof. I'm not a fan of the tradional "fat-burners"…
  • Spike Diet! I learnd I didn't have to give up foods I love to lose weight! Plus it just made sense talking about starvation mode and why we plateau on most diets.
  • Don't give up, it sounds like your metabolism is running slow. Eat more one day a week to get it going. High protein and coconut oil can also help increase your metabolism.
  • I have lost over 40lbs with a Spike Day every single week. I love it!
  • Try the Spike Diet/Spike84 plan of eating less carbo's during the day to force more fat usage, and then having a weekly spike day (double your base metabolic rate) I love it personally and I've seen my in-shape friend get ripped doing it. This way tricks your body into keeping metabolism high and lowers your muscle burning…
  • My name is Jan - single My max weight was around 265lb :( My current weight is 210b. I want to reach and maintain 165lbs by next Spring or Summer I've lost about 40lbs since May using Spike Diet, I love it! I want to lose another 10+ pounds by labor day and finally be under 200lbs!!! I need some extra motivation and to be…
  • I wouldn't substitute anything for regular milk unless you are lactose intolerant. Skim milk has much more protein than soy/rice.almond milk. *Coconut oil for butter and oil *stevia>splenda>sugar *ground flax for part of flour *agave syrup for corn syrup or pancake syrup *egg beaters or whites for whole eggs
  • Yes you do, I am so jealous! Great job.
  • It's ok to skip snacking all together but if you need something go with a high protein snack like a 2% cheese stick or beef jerky.
  • All carbs are really sugar as there's no difference between even oatmeal and an apple as far as the glycemic index. The only thing that reall matter is overall calories. Oats are around 50-60 and most fruits are 40-50 on the scale.
  • non-perishables are tough Beef jerkey As far as bars go I love the 2:1 Protein bars cookies and cream and also their 5:1 chocolate crunch bars! They taste just like a Nestle Crunch bar. I get them at GNC.
  • Great Job Russ! You looked even more handsome this time
  • It's designed around metabolism, but it's easy to follow because every week you get a Spike Day where you can eat anything you want. I'm losing about 3lbs a week, every week. I'm trying to get my firend's to try it but no one wants to "diet" even though I keep telling them it's easy. I am one of those people that does a…
  • It counts for your water intake, but with all of the added junk in there you really need to include plain old water. I have my favorite water bottle like someone else said. I'm always filling it and keeping it the fridge. One less step, when I'm thirsty and it helps me not grab the diet pop.

  • I use coconut oil in place of butter for everything. I love it.
