  • Thank you all! I peeked at my food diary and it seems that all the other days I have been well under my sugar intake. If I go over today, it certainly should not kill me too quickly. I suppose I'll have to just not eat yogurt every morning. I really am trying to keep everything that needs to be low, relatively low.
  • Thank you for the suggestion, Wolfe. Unfortunately our treadmill likes to knock out the power in the entire house when started and we don't have a gym near us. But the suggestion is a good one and I greatly appreciate it!
  • Thank you, Luthorcrow! I am at 140 at the moment and am wanting to loose only about 10 pounds for now. I will definitely go for a walk tomorrow!
  • I did stretch though it must not have been very effective. My stretch involves a 10 minute walk to the place where I jog. I also was doing a few squats (ouch ouch ouch!) and planks etc. I did buy the C25k app for my ipod and started trying it out on Tuesday. Once I'm able to run a little longer, I do plan on starting it…
  • I'm of the belief that it is the person, not the dog, who should be held accountable for the dog's actions. Breed Banning is a load of hogwash, imho.
  • I could have sworn Nutella doesn't actually have that much chocolate and that is it mostly Hazelnuts! Either way, this recipe looks very good! Thank you so much for sharing.
  • I think I would trust Backinthenines' dog, at least from my experience with dogs around here. The dog is trained and never leaves her side. Dogs on leads, usually, are somewhere behind, to the side, to the front of their person and if something spooks them into becoming aggressive, I think the owner is less likely to get…
  • KCB I think you are correct. I swear I've seen a statistic on dog bites that shows that people are bitten more often by small dogs than by big dogs. 'Dangerous' dogs, I think, only get their bad name because the media sensationalizes what they do. If that were turned around on the wee little dogs, I have a feeling you'd…
  • To be truthful, I am more concerned about a little yappy dogs being off lead than a 'terrifying' Rottie or GSD or pitbull (illegal here). NC is a real issue with small dogs and for whatever reason, people don't think they do not have to train 'Fufu the Fluffy Cloud Dog' like they do 'Rambo the Great and Potentially…
  • I haven't gotten around to getting a picture just yet. And I don't feel comfortable displaying my face on such a public forum.
  • Thank you both! I honestly didn't even pay attention to the fat part of the entry. I think instead of having 1 whole egg and 1 with only egg white, that I'll just eat the egg whites only! The bowl of oatmeal is a great idea as well, thank you for that!
  • I definitely feel you! I only started on Monday but noticed that on that day, when I had a hard boiled egg rather than waffel, I was full all day and ended up not eating all of my Calories. And then yesterday, I didn't have time for the egg and just had a pair of waffels (not the American kind, but Belgian mini ones). I…
  • Thank you all for your responses! The reason my other days aren't filled out is because I only started yesterday. Definitely right about the coffee! I love drinking coffee so that will be something I'll need to work on. Also, fruits and nuts are on my list to be bought next time I can run to the store. We sorta…
  • What made me really smile, and laugh, was looking outside and seeing one of my cats laying on her back in a strip of bright sunlight. I am a firm believer that Cats and Dogs can smile and boy did she have a grin on her face!
  • I'm rooting for you YViKS! :D
