This might seem like strange and backwards advice, but maybe you need to forget about losing weight right now. Maybe you should just focus on your mental and spiritual well-being, and your physical well-being will follow. Focus on finding balance and tranquility in your life, rather than trying to lose weight....that's…

I bake a bunch of them plain and then use them in different ways throughout the week. One of my favs is to just heat up a breast and drizzle a little fat free italian dressing over it...tastes delicious. You can also make stir fry with lots of veggies, or a casserole with baked turkey, quinoa, low fat cream of celery soup,…

I say you should be brave and try Zumba! I weigh around 300lbs at 5'9" (29 years old) and started Zumba classes a few weeks ago....and I LOVE it. It kicks my booty every time, but it's fun and its an awesome workout. You can also modify some of the more difficult moves. I was always petrified of group classes due to my…

There are many different kinds of enemas. What kind did you use?

I'm pretty much an open book, as is my food diary. Friend request sent!

Hey everyone! This seems like a fantastic group, and I would love to join in :) I'm 29 and have been overweight or obese all my life. Right now I would just settle for being plain old "obese" but I have that nasty morbidly obese title to my name! Right now my goal is to get to a point where I feel happy and healthy...not a…

Just be careful with the cold turkey approach. I absolutely advocate for quitting or significantly reducing the amount of soda you drink and significantly increasing your water intake....but you may want to do it slowly. I was drinking several diet cokes a day and sometimes a coffee or two as well. I stopped drinking all…

I'd love to join :)

I'm in love with Zumba classes! By the end of the hour, I am sweating buckets....plus it's really fun :)

Eating fresh, healthy foods can be very difficult when you are busy and have an ever changing schedule. I'm a nurse...so I feel your pain with the shift work fiasco :) I have discovered that it helps to prep a bunch of food at the same time and have it ready to eat for the entire week. I will cook a big batch of steel cut…

It's not just you! When i was in my early twenties I always felt like the odd one out. All of my close friends were beautiful skinny girls. I was always the fat girl. It was depressing and I felt like I was always being judged....not to mention that no one was going to ever want to pay attention to me when I'm surrounded…

Just make sure if you decide to stop drinking it....dont quit all caffeine cold turkey. I learned that lesson the hard way a few weeks ago. Stopped all caffeine consumption and dealt with a massive 6 day headache:( i feel GREAT now though!

I have not lost a large amount of weight...in fact Im morbidly obese and just starting this journey, but i can offer you some relationship advice. You have to learn to love what you see when you look deep inside yourself before you can ever love what you see in the mirror. Love and accept yourself EXACTLY the way you are…

I really like 1 or 2 tablespoons of chia seeds in a glass of water either with breakfast or as a mid-morning snack. Soak the chia seeds for 10 mins in your water and slurp away. I find it really refreshing and very filling :) i buy mine from nuts.com

I Love love love my Enell bra. Im a 44H and had to buy the biggest size they make, but that baby holds the girls in tight. They are locked and loaded and ready for action!

I have a Fitbit Zip (which is the cheapest one) and I love it. But it's basically just a glorified pedometer. I got mine really cheap through a fitness program at work....i would not have paid the high cost for it. Unless you have tons of extra cash to throw around I would recommend just getting a regular pedometer to…

Okay, I'm at 87.1 miles total. I know that I'm going to finish this in the next few days!

I'm not sure where you got this info, but there are several skydiving companies in Minnesota that have a maximum weight limit of 235 to even 250lbs. I've never seen anything about a weight limit of 150 :)

I only add drinks to the food diary if there are calories in it. I drink lots of flavored water that has no calories or sodium, and I just leave those out.

1. special k bars (chocolatey pretzel is my fav) 2. grilled chicken breast 3. whole wheat pasta 4. Dannon light n fit yogurt 5. flavored water--Mio liquid water enhancer has helped me drink a lot more water!

Thanks for all the advice ladies! I purchased an Enell sports bra from Amazon.com for $64, and it just came in the mail today. I'm a 44H, and I was able to order an Enell size 7....it fits perfectly! I can't wait to try it out tomorrow morning! I sure hope it's worth the investment :)
