Ive been losing weight for a month and a couple of weeks now, 8 pounds have gone away from my body in total and yea I am totally proud of that and I realize that I still have a long way to go. The other day I had a party with my friends and all as we walk around I sit and watch there bodies and compare mine. My friends are all thinner than me also by the way. I know its bad to do that but sometimes I cant help it. I feel so ugly around them sometimes especially when we get around guys or talk about boys cause like realistically which guy is going to want me when they could have anyone of my Hot friends. Ive never been the girl who was hot and got guys attention... im more of the friend with the really good personality. I want to be the hot girl with the nice body who is fully confident never having a doubt in her mine wether shes beautiful or not. I know its so vain to want these things from my weightloss and I shouldnt want to lose weight for others but honestly this is how I really feel and I was wondering if there's others out there whofeel the same and maybe could help me find a more positive way to look at things.

It's not just you! When i was in my early twenties I always felt like the odd one out. All of my close friends were beautiful skinny girls. I was always the fat girl. It was depressing and I felt like I was always being judged....not to mention that no one was going to ever want to pay attention to me when I'm surrounded by these other girls (except for the occasional creeper). But my friends loved my for who I am (and still do) and weren't afraid to be seen in public with the fat girl I'm happy to say that after making it through many years of loneliness and depression, I found Mr. Right and we've been married for 5 years now. And I didn't have to lose a single pound for him to fall in love with me. It is only now that I am finally motivated to lose weight because I want to do it for myself. For my own happiness. Not for anyone else! Don't lose weight because you want to find that special someone....do it for yourself! Do it because you deserve to feel beautiful and healthy and sexy. But even if you fail, and don't lose any weight the most important thing is for you to love yourself, forgive yourself, and don't give up on yourself!!!!0

One of my favorite quotes is that "It's not what your body looks like but what it can do."0
