I am also completely confused about this. I don't understand why my exercise calories end up in my food log. My BMR is 1600, and myfitnesspal put my calories at 1500 a day. So when I work out, and I usually burn about 350 calories, my allotted calories go up to 1850 a day, which is more than my BMR. Since I am trying to…

My boyfriend works at google, where apparently they have unlimited m&ms, granola bars, soda, juice, bagels, etc. I am so glad I don't work there. I would have a "bad day" 4x a week probably. Right now I am trying to resist my easter basket!

This is a great topic. I have been running for 3 weeks - on a treadmill, mostly - and around Sunday my knee started to get a little sore. I'm actually planning on doing the elliptical tomorrow bc its lower impact but it sounds like I may need to save up for some runnin' shoes.

wow thanks! It does hurt my knees a little when I run on the tread for a couple workouts in a row...and then I have to take a day off to recoup.

I hate exercising. A lot. But I love walking home from the gym, still flushed, happy I was able to push myself through that last mile! So basically, the good feeling I have AFTER I exercise it what keeps me going.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who eats a snack before bed :) I love having a bowl of special k at night ...while watching Friends reruns....I am a creature of habit! I always have calories left over on weeknights so I don't feel bad abt it

I go to the gym 5 days a week and do 30 min of cardio. You guys are making me feel lazy!

The other day I was absolutely starving after work and grabbed one of those little tubes of mixed nuts out of the vending machine...they had 290 calories but filled me up and gave me a boost to get through it. I aim to work out when I'm mildly hungry (but not weak) bc it helps me down more water and cramp up less.
