MB, I'm in the same boat. I work with a trainer and she says it just takes time for the muscle to burn the fat off. Also, I don't sleep more than 4 hours at a time most nights which will also effect weight loss. so look for outside things that could be effecting your weight loss goal. Minyon

I also suffer from lack of sleep...oh yes I try all the natural ways I can but it still eludes me almost on a nightly basis and it definately effects my lack of weight loss and my workouts.

also I suggest, keep a list of little things you can do for yourself to feel better. I have a couple of outfits I wear that always make me feel better...I'm sure there are tons of things people do for themselves to feel better......

I was close to doing the same thing at home on the weekends. I just stopped and bought myself better snacks to keep around the house for the weekends. almonds, peanut butter crackers...almond granola bars. would a change like that help? Tell her she could use a little toning up also and then ask her what time she's like to hit the gym...lol. If she would like you slimmer , make her aprt of the work out process so she can see how hard you are working. my hubby runs with me sometimes and understands how hard my runs can be.

I injured my right shoulder, I shifted the weight training to different parts of my body and started seeing a Chinese Accupunturist. Within a few visits I felt ready to start using weights again and am now almost totally recovered. I'm a former needle-fobic too but you hardly feel anything and I feel so calm and relaxed…

How does your doctor feel about your weight? if he's ok with it then I'd reply back to those comments with that information.

I tell people who bring me (or point out) bad foods like donuts this short story: "You know recently one of our coworkers in died in the office because he was overweight and a smoker, I think I'll pass so I can stick around a while longer."

I also drink green tea thru my work day, but definately not the 17-33 cups mentioned in the above article. Getting up to My 8 - 8oz's a day, I have a couple of cups with a green tea bag...then I drink a plain couple of cups of water...then one with Trigosamine in it for the joint benifits.
