I say if you want to, go for it. I wear shoes while working out so if someone were to be barefoot on the machine before I used it it wouldn't concern me at all. Now for safty reasons I probably wouldn't do it. What if you began to sweat and slipped off the the treadmill. It may be dangerous

I am 5'5 and my initial goal weight was 135. Now that I am 143 my goal weight is 140. For me 135 would be too small. I just want to tone where I am and maintain my weight.

I think a six pack on a women is sexy and most guys I know do as well. I have pretty defined abs and I get compliments all the time. As long as you don't look like a male body builder....you're good.

I had to up my calories from what MFP set for me. I tried it their way for a couple days and felt as though I was going to starve to death. Its all about figuring out what works best for you and your lifestyle.

I eat well over 2000 cals when I go hard in the gym, especially since I am doing an hr of strength training. I try to stay around 1300-1500 on my day of rest. It truly does depend on your weight and activity level. If your eating 2000 cals everyday and seeing results then stick w/ it!
-
@ Pandorian, are you eating 2000 calories even on your resting days or do you work out 7 days a week?
-
2000 calories is way too many....you should probably be eating between 1200 and 1500. It depends on your weight and activity level. 500 cals burned everyday should help you lose 1lb per week but since you should give your body at least 1-2 days of rest then you would need to burn more than 500 on the days you workout.

Congrats! You look great. Your hard work and determination has really paid off.

I doubt that you ate over 6000 calories to have actually gained 2 lbs. Its just water weight. If you ate alot of sidium then you just retained water. Drink plenty of water to flush your system and watch your sodium intake.

Woo hoo! Thats great. You must be doing something right. Keep it up!

Not strange at all. I had to do that for a short period as well. If thats what you need to do to stay motivated on your journey....DO IT!

Hey, we all have a cheat day/weekend every now and again....what matters most is what you do going forward. Get it in at the gym this week. Continue to drink plenty of water and consider doing a 7 day cleanse. Renew Life has a great one.

Always weigh yourself first thing in the morning. Everyone's weight fluctates throughout that the course of the day. You are weing in entirely too often for your results to be accurate. Once a week is enough. I only weigh once a month now.

Took me a minute to get it too. I have to eat more b/c iburn so many calories. Like today I ate my 1500 calories but burned over 1300 so its like I really only ate 200 calories.
