It's all about what you put in your body. Lots of fresh fruit, veges, meat (if you're an omni), lay off the white stuff --potatoes, white bread, complex sugars, rice, pasta. It's hard at first but the weight loss is a definite motivator to stick to it. And if you're active for just 30 minutes a day, you can eat more…

Whatever you do, DON'T STOP! Please don't get discouraged. I did. I lost 30# in 3 months and then the scale stopped moving and I gave up and put it all back on in 6 months. Stop paying attention to the scale. Whatever you're doing is working. Use the tape instead. It's a way bigger motivator. Don't give up, you're doing…

All I can say is "Wow"!!! You look incredible and I bet you feel great too not having to shop in the plus size section! I'm getting there myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

Kesha has a great up-tempo beat that is good for cardio!

Get a heart rate monitor (HRM) instead. You won't have to worry about how to log in your exercise ever again.

Frozen fresh fruit is the only thing I eat after dark. I get a huge bag of it from Walmart (mixed fruit), and eat it a cup at a time sharing it occasionally with my kids or my dog.

Def get a heart rate monitor (HRM). They sell them at Academy and other sports stores. Thats the most effective way. In the meantime however, I was using the "Tae Bo" under exercise. For me, my workout is about 892 calroies per hour or approx 600 per 40 minutes.

What you need: Good tennis shoes, preferably cross trainers Lots of water on hand Towel Music that gets your heart rate up--fast tempo Yoga mat (optional) Month 1 is approx. 40 mintues, month 2 is approx 1 hour. Find your own pace and don't give up. Suggestion: if you're not really physically fit, you may want to do month…

Of course! I'm in absolute hell with month 2. I'm only on my second day and this has got to be some sort of torture from a third world country. I feel like someone has kicked me in each butt cheek with a steel toed shoe! I don't try to keep up with them, I go at my own pace. I know by the end of the month I'll have it down…

I know how hard it is to say no to food and how easy it is to make excuses as to why you're eating what you're eating. "I worked out today, I can eat a _______." "Oh, well, I'll just workout tomorrow. This ice cream sundae won't hurt." "I'm too tired to do a real workout today." (and then spend the day on the couch eating…

Walking lunges are evil! Jumping lunges are worse. I can't walk by the time I'm done!

Considering how young you are, it shouldn't take much to get you to shed some unwanted weight. Stay away from sodas!

Hooray chin!

If that were true, there wouldn't be people that need to get cut out of their homes.

When I get upset like that, I run. Put on your shoes and headphones and just run. I know, it sounds like it sucks, but when you're done, you're mind is clearer, your spirit feels lighter, and your body feels great--tired--but great. Good luck!

The forcing to eat everything on your plate dates back to the Great Depression. You never knew when you were getting your next meal. That mindset unfortunately, has been passed down the generations. You shouldn't play the blame game anyway. It's not going to help you get healthy. Only you can do that. And when (if) you…
