It was just explained to me that the 2300 is for maintenance and not to lose weight and that I need to decrease the 500 calories for weight lose. Phew, glad I asked before I started GAINING weight :embarassed:

I am following the recipes at first because I have to get used to the macros and what my meals should look like. As far as 2400 calories, I was using the calculator that is used to determine it, but it does seem high!

I know how hard it can be! I have just been diagnosed with allergies to egg/soy/corn. I feel sooo much better when I avoid these foods, but it is definetly a learning curve. Anyone, please feel free to add me!

Thank you for the responses! My little man also has a peanut/tree nut allergy, so I am used to reading labels. However, it is much easier with Peanuts and tree nuts because it has to be listed on the label ingredients. I guess I will do my best with trial and error.

I have made this a few times, and the key is parchment paper under the crust, it makes it nice and crispy and doesn't stick to the pan! :)

You are right that I need to find the time for ME, but life is so darn busy and my boys come first, I forget that sometimes. I get up at 5:00 everyday to get ready for work and get the boys ready for the day. My husband works at 4:30 am, so I am by myself in the mornings. I try to be Super-Women, I really do!

Bag of 50/50 lettace and spinich, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, blueberries, green onion, green pepper and cucumbers will make me a lunch for a few days :) Easy and fresh!

Soooo glad other people feel this way too! I was doing really good - but then I fell off the wagon, had sugar, and now I cannot pass up M&M's, chocolate kisses, brownies, oreos, etc. What happened to me! I used to be so strong and had will power, now I eat this junk before I even know that it is in my mouth :(

I have the same problem :( My hips and boobs grew too fast and it wasn't to weight gain, it was just to becoming a women. If anyone has the magic answer, I would love to know!

I used to drink. It was more fun before I was legal age. However, about 5 years ago, something happened and now even 1 drink makes me vomit. I think I must have developed an allergy or something. I would LOVE to be able to drink a few drinks now and again, however, not for me anymore :(
