  • Wow, it says I should be an H? Something is seriously wrong. I need a real fitting. I've gone down in size, but haven't bought any new bras yet. Wonder why.
  • That's the way I make my cauliflower....and for a veggie I used to hate...it makes a GREAT side dish!
  • My doctor said to stick closer to 1500 than to 1200, and that 1200 was not enough.
  • If you are trying to eat less carbs, more protein, why don't you know some of the wraps like someone mentioned, but go for the low carb/high fiber/protein variety, like Ole brand, or Lavash breads? They are SUPER low in calories and carbs, but REALLY high in fiber and protein. Interesting about needing more fat in the…
  • Awesome difference!!! And kudos for posting photos :)
  • Well, that's probably the best reason as to why someone would go vegetarian that I've ever heard. They also say that disposable diapers are cause for some of the stuff with girls....because of all the chemicals that touch their body. I only wish that organic meat was cheaper....but the f'ers that have to shoot their…
  • Agreed. I live less than 1/2 hour from where Jello was created. Its no big deal to me. Vegetarians -- don't want it, don't eat it, i don't care. I don't know why many of you are vegetarians anyways. To each is own.
  • I'm from Rochester, NY
  • I'm so glad you posted this :) I can't get enough of crockpot meals -- they are so easy :)
  • This is exactly the reason I kept my ex's name. I have ABSOLUTELY no ties to this guy, nor do i miss him, still love him, etc. Nope, none of those. My last name -- NO one could ever pronounce it nor spell it. My maiden name is my middle name....and I like it that way.
  • I'm in the same boat. I've been consistent with calories, have LOADS of protein and no loss in two weeks (i gain/lose the same two pounds, which is basically nothing to me). I'm frustrated as well. I've been so busy lately that I haven't made it to the gym, but even with less calories....SOMETHING should change. I'm at…
  • Definitely agree with this!!!!! :)
  • Wow, that is amazing. You truly have a remarkable story. Excellent job. You look (and must feel!!) fantastic!!!!
  • A friend of mine does beets, celery and either mango or papaya (along with, I think, protein powder and maybe some other stuff). She likes it a lot.
  • I have a vitamix -- it is the best thing I have spent money on in a long time -- I've done so much more than juicing in it, but it does work great for whole juicing. I usually like a simple carrot/apple/ginger(optional) smoothie, which I sometimes add kale and/or spinach to. I too wanted to get more vegetables into my…
  • How about a protein shake from dashingdish.com? Many days when I have to travel for work, I make one of them up in my Vitamix and I'm on my way. They are between 200-300 cals, with about 20-30 grams of protein. :)
  • You are such a beautiful girl!!! I think anyone would kill for your shape (I know I would!!!!) :) And congrats on your success so far -- that is AMAZING!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
  • That is SO FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!! I'll get there some day!!!
  • You're adorable. Keep it up. Great success story, great photos and what a wonderful smile you have when holding your little boy!
  • Oh, and just for reference, this is what they look like: http://www.amazon.com/Ole-Mexican-Tortilla-Wrap-12-Ounce/dp/B004721MVS/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1343997247&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=ole+high+fiber I pay $4+ for a package.
  • One of my favorite things is a low carb tortilla. I get two different brands -- one is Ole High Fiber Low Carb tortilla, and it has 17 carbs and 12 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein, and I think 70 calories or so. I get these from price rite. The other one I just recently got was Azteca, which has 7 carbs and 3 grams…
  • Less carbs, lots more protein, smaller amounts....but the best is the lack of sugar :) I use stevia in everything! I think the recipes on dashingdish.com have really helped....especially the protein shakes, they are my favorite! Definitely helps when you have variety, and things on hand to make some yummy low…
  • Tell her to start logging her calories and exercise daily and you'll quickly see what she's doing wrong. I had no idea....until I started logging. Well, I had SOME idea, but was in denial. LOL.
  • hahaha. We used to laugh at people that had their kids on a leash. But then we had my second....and OMG he was a RUNAWAY CHILD at all times!!!! I think we used one once, but really, I could have used one more often. It depends on the child. It was horrible with him running and having to watch another one, PLUS having a…
  • Sooo cute. Looks almost like an Am. Bulldog. I love all bully breeds. :) I have a friend who very much dislikes pits and thinks they attack children more than any other breed. I wish I could get her to see they are AWESOME :) When we get another dog, I'm torn between a bullmastiff and a pit. I'd get one now, but I'm not…
  • I was going to ask if your hubby lost weight too, his face looked younger. Good job on doing it together. I really think that is key....having people around you support you and sometimes join you in your success. Good job :)
  • You look fantastic!!! Great job so far!!!! You are a beautiful girl! :)
  • Hi Kristi :) I was banded on 6/15 and the first few weeks were ROUGH. At the end of the pureed diet, I was wanting more, but not eating more, and I was losing the least amount of weight. As soon as I started eating real food, and bringing my calories up over 1000 (which was REALLY hard in the beginning), I started losing…
  • I'm really worried after reading all these posts about getting a fill. I had my band done on 6/15, and am going in around 8/6 for a fill. I've been losing about 2 lbs/week, eating about 1300 cals a day. I've had a few issues with things going down (and a few coming back up), but I'm wondering if I should even get a fill…
