  • My sweet, beloved boyfriend bought me an eyelash curler for Christmas. Now it was a 16.00 Tarte eyelash curler, but I have never even used an eyelash curler, never expressed an interest in one... I am giving him the benefit of the doubt here and assuming that a sales clerk gave him the brilliant idea.
  • With the temps still easily in the 108+ area, sprinklers sound AMAZING!
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE Tim Minchin!
  • 40+ days the scale didn't budge. I worked out, I eat very well, within my goals, I ate back most calories when I worked out blah blah blah and nothing. NOTHING. I was at my wits end, when holy shizzballs I finally lost a pound this week. :| I keep thinking its because prior to packing on 20 pounds I was in very good…
  • I really like the Beach Body series called Slim in 6. Its a progressive series that starts off slow and increases difficulty as you go. Its a tiny bit corny and not flashy and cool like newer series, but its simple, and effective
  • I look to Diane Lane a lot. She has a more ample chest than I do, but I think we have a similar shape, and when I want to get motivated I will look at photos of her. Although sometimes I'll watch Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 and get seriously motivated to tone my arms
  • In no way do I mean to discourage you; but I run in events several times a year and I see people interval walk/run for the whole duration of the event. ( 5K's, 10K's 1/2/ marathons) you can interval throughout and still keep a really solid pace. Maybe do some internet searches on interval running and see what you think.
  • Very true- I just try to get the optimal benefit from the calories I eat. So to me, a beer is empty calories, whereas the wheat tortilla would be nutrition. And I avoid carrots like the plague due to the sugar... Now let me step off my high horse lol! The donut had no redeeming nutritional qualities, I just really wanted…
  • Sadly when you're trying to lose weigh that beer just isn't an option. When you've reached a goal weight then it becomes about maintaining; that's when you can "afford" to have a beer once in a while, etc. But during a time where everything you put in your mouth counts, you have to choose wisely. Unless you intend on…
  • Wow- not so sure that all that sniping was neccessary. All I can add is that you should be proud, you should post pictures, and you will just need to get used to ignoring the attention. If being thin is a new sensation to you, then you really will need to get used to the attention, as it will happen online and in the real…
  • I'm 5'6 and 160 lbs my goal is about 145. I have been as low as 132 in the past but am at my very best at 145. Especially since I started distance running a few years ago. Don't want to sacrifice muscle for a number on scale :)
  • I make a lot of jokes about how I look homeless when I'm running... so yeah, I'm in the same boat. I don't scrimp on my shoes or bras, but otherwise I am not too picky. Old v-neck tshirts I dont wear become work out t's. In the winter I wear my boyfriend's WAY too-big on me undershirts. I have found some really good deals…
  • I've done the series off and on for a few years and I love it. You definitely feel the burn. I also like that its fairly simple and easy to execute.
