I've been posting progress pics on my profile with every 4-5 lbs I lose. But I'm getting totally discouraged because I will get messages (3 this week) from guys who are saying completely inappropriate things. I don't wanna delete the pics--I'm proud of my weight loss so far! But is there a way to report these guys even if they're sending you a private message? Or idk, just suggestions in general?

You're standing there in your underwear with your boobs perfectly centered in the shot.
You catch what you bait for.0 -

Yup. Not sure how you expect any other response....0 -

Actually most of my FRIENDS on this site have been very supportive, so I disagree. And sorry, I can't help it if my boobs are large. It's a progress pic...! This is a weight loss site! Is there a way to make my profile picture private so non-friends can't see it?0 -
Yeah and if you are baiting them thats on you and your creation....lets not be wishy washy..0

Can't agree more. You can wear something more appropriate, even a bathing suit, but still...I couldn't have said it better myself.0 -
Maybe you can't help it but you can cover up. Plenty of people post weight loss pictures fully clothed. Maybe your pics would be better received on match.com.0

I think inappropriate responses are just that - inappropriate. I do see a lot of photos people post (haven't seen yours) that I think "oh - my - how can they post that?" I mean, not even just a bathing suit (and I'm not a prude). I don't really know if there is a moderator or anyone like that here to submit complaints to though.
Sorry you are getting those - I'd like to think that everyone can just play nice & be mature, but there are always a few...0 -

This is a bathing suit. It's called a bikini.0 -

Nope. Sorry. This is the only place on the internet that you can share pictures with friends.0 -

Yea, pretty much!!0 -
Look, I can see why you're proud of your pic....but I have to agree here. Perhaps put on a nice dress that still shows your figure, but not giving people the wrong idea.
Also, make your profile private so only your friends can see you profile. If you're getting inappropriate comments, delete them as friends and viola. Problem solved.0 -
I also have progress photos, but I'm not in my underwear or a lacey bra, I'm in workout clothes and you can still (easily) see the progress ...0

Come on guys, instead of acting like you're on a construction site whistling and yelling any comment that comes to mind....maybe pretend you're sitting poolside or beachside with your wife or girlfriend next to you and you've gotta think it but keep your mouth shut.0

Nah it's not friends I'm talking about--just randos! How do I make my profile private?0 -
I think if your comfortable enough to post the pics, more power to you! its just a shame you get creeps that are gonna message you inappropriate comments0
-
This is for snickers right?
I mean nobody can really be serious about uploading a pic like that and then be shocked at the outcome you had....right?0 -
LOLcats. I agree with everyones comments.0

Ya I'm gonna have to say you can't really expect that to not happen. I am new to this site, but is there a way you can make pics viewable to your friends only? If you post pics in your underwear you're kinda asking for inappropriate comments to be made. It shouldn't be that way, but that's just how it is.0
-
To answer the original question, when you receive an inappropriate message there is a "block user" option at the top of the message window.0
-
Wow- not so sure that all that sniping was neccessary. All I can add is that you should be proud, you should post pictures, and you will just need to get used to ignoring the attention. If being thin is a new sensation to you, then you really will need to get used to the attention, as it will happen online and in the real world. In both worlds you will learn to ignore/delete And congrats, you look great.0

Change your profile pic and make your profile private.
Seriously, though, I cannot believe this surprises you.0 -
You can make it so only your friends can see the rest of your pics, but everyone will see your profile pic. Knowing that, I suggest putting something innocuous for your profile pic and then your progress pics in with your other pics if you don't want the comments.
I must say, as a member of the male species, I'm sorry for the other members that are creepy because they think they can get away with it and don't realize the damage it causes the offended person.0 -
Sorry0

I see PLENTY of people on here posing half-clothed. And I think your bra covers more than a lot of women's teeny bikinis I see in pictures! Maybe the men's COMMENTS would be better received on match.com.
I would say maybe reply to their messages and apologize if they thought you were sending them a different message than you intended, but that they're messages are making you uncomfortable.0 -

Exactly, go with a sports bra instead0 -

Yes there is. You can go to Settings then profile privacy settings and switch it to My friends only. The people who are not your friends can only see your main picture so if you dont want creepy messages switch it to one with clothes on.0 -
Wow, really surprised by the comments. Who cares how she's dressed, that doesn't mean she deserves to be treated with less respect than anyone else on this site. I think if you go to settings and then profile privacy settings you can make your profile completely private and only open to your friends. You don't deserve to be treated like that and neither does anyone else.0
-
I say if you wanna post the pics because you are that proud of yourself then go for it but I would set your profile to private and change your profile pic to something less showy. If you don't want to do that then you should put on a thicker skin cause you gotta live in the world with the rest of us and showing pics like that you see what happens.0

I wish people would send me provocative messages.0
