I've been on here since 2010. I know what it takes, just my body doesn't always seem to agree. I have MS, bad knees and last year had surgery. Too many things kept me down and out. I'm looking for those that are up for like cheering, motivating, pushing...that kind of stuff. I workout because I have to, but I absolutely…

Thanks! Sorry, wasn't ignoring you, just got busy here. I know I can do it, but just getting frustrated with myself. I guess I'm more disappointed that I allowed this to happen. You might have to teach me this meditation. I'm on medication now for anxiety and stress. I didn't realize how bad it was until this past winter.…

Thanks, but the pleasure is mine! I started back in 2010 and was so diligent about everything I did. I'd lost over 100 lbs. I don't know if I just got lazy, over confident, new people in my life... But, I got way off track, gained too much back and now trying to get it all back. I might have to steal your plan of…

WB to the MFP wagon! WTG on the achievements, thus far!! I'm trying to get back in the swing of things again myself. I've got my workouts going, it's logging all the food that seems to be a challenge. It's just tedious at times. Or, maybe I'm making excuses? Time will tell. Anyway, looking for support and offering,…

Yep, looking for more friends! Feel free to add me! :)
-
Thank you...sending request. :)

lol If only it were that easy, eh?! I guess I shouldn't have posted a request and then leave to go workout. But, isn't that why we're here? ;)

Having to chuck all your shoes because they're too big now!! Even more embarrassing, being able to wear kid's shoes size 4-5.
-
I've been at this for over 4 years. In the last year or so, gained a lot back and trying to get it off for the last time. Feel free to add me if you want.
-
Thank you and you, as well. :)

Yoovie, love it. :) Hope you don't mind, I sent a request.

Thank you! Added both of you. :)

Go for it! It's a great gadget to have. Unlike most, I do take mine off/on throughout the day, though. I take it off when I pet my dogs. It will give what I call "phantom steps" when I'm petting them. I also take it off when I'm folding laundry, but that's just me. I know others would count it because it's activity. If…

Feel free to add me. Fear can be a great motivator and make you stay the course. A diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes did that to me. I'm no longer considered Diabetic. You see, you can do this!! You must do this! You're too young to have to deal with something like this. Fight for your future! :)

This made me laugh and reminded me of my father. He was pulled over for speeding and it happened to be a female officer. He asked her, "shouldn't you be home baking a pie?!"

I garden, but not great at it. I do my best, though, until the bugs...especially, spiders...find their way in and scare me out. Then, hubby takes over from there. I'll be putting in tomatoes, blackcherry tomatoes, lettuces, spinach, peppers, squashes (if the squash bugs don't take over again) and some herbs. I'm getting…

43, married 16 years and no kids, just 4 doggies. They're like kids...a handful, but they don't talk back. :) Anyone is welcome to add me.

Acogg, your routine kind of sounds like mine. I'll pick a mark...10, 15 or 20 minutes... that I have to make before I'll allow myself to stop if needed. I usually find once I hit that mark, I'll set another one. lol Graelwyn, you are remarkable!! Doing any kind of exercise with COPD is difficult. But, 2 hours?! I'm blown…

Sounds delish! I love chickpeas. Thanks for this!

Thank you, everyone. I just don't want someone else to make the mistakes I made. I shouldn't have put all my trust in this vet. The other factor in all this, I have had a lot going on at once and rather than getting chastised again, I let this vet call the shots. Normally, I'd have checked the Internet and placed calls to…

Thank you. I was trying to stay informed. Then, this vet jumped my case telling me to stop reading the web. I'm kicking myself now for letting him do that to me. I'm in the process of finding a new vet for my other dogs.

I got mine a few years ago at Walmart. I believe it was about 20. You don't need an expensive fancy one unless that's what you want. My suggestion is to make sure it weighs in grams and ounces. The only thing I wish mine did was measure down to the tenth, instead it toggles between the whole numbers. Hope that helps. :)

This! Exactly this! I did the same thing. I kept meals around 40-60 grams and snacks around 15 grams. The other key is to move, especially after meals. It doesn't have to be hardcore exercise. Just move. That sleepy/sluggish feeling people get after a meal is your body wanting to burn those carbs. My key grocery list:…

Agree with everyone else. Then, ask him (or, you do it) to program every date you want him to remember in his phone with reminder alerts...anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
