My mom had Sjogren's and Lupus (SLE). I have Multiple Sclerosis. I also have arthritis. I completely understand the problems of outdoor activities. I've never paid attention to food triggers. I might have to start watching that. I know for me, stress plays a huge roll. Even when I have a flare up, I still try to push…

Spiders are my biggest fear. I swear, someday, gonna be the death of me. Elevators, small spaces, crowds & dying alone.

I was diagnosed Type 2 back in March of 2010. My dr. no longer considers me Diabetic. I've a had a year's worth of A1C's at 4.8, 5.0 and the last one at 4.9. Everyone is giving great advice here. The one thing I found important is not giving up anything. To tell yourself you can't have this or that, makes most people want…

I feel like a total wimp. I'm in Indy and I've had the heat on a number of times since about 2 weeks ago. :(

Short of being demanding, what can you do? You can try talking and see if you can both work out a happy median. I know it's tough resisting but find some way to keep the stuff out of sight, perhaps? Maybe there's something you do that he doesn't like and you can use this as leverage? For me, I make him keep that stuff in…

I say see a doctor. A few years ago, I was put on a blood pressure pill (Lisonopril) and developed a cough. I had no idea it was this causing it. Thankfully, my BP is normal and no more pills. But, none of us know your history, other meds, etc. Good luck.

I don't use it. I figure if someone wants to know about me, they can get in touch with me via phone, face-to-face, email or whatever. I don't need it all posted on a site for everyone else to know my business. Thank you OP for this. I was starting to feel like I was the only one not into it.

Easy! Because men (and people) tend to piss me off, I'd choose Ritter's Frozen Custard!! lol Their peanut butter glacier beats DQ's Reese's blizzard, hands down. :)

Love "Cool Hand Luke!" As for eggs, they got a bad rep in the 80's/90's. Turns out, they're not as bad as once thought. Unless your doctor advises you to limit them, eat them. I have them for breakfast and dinner. I've had blood work done and my cholesterol (assuming that's why you're saying they're not healthy) is better…

I'm not saying this will work for you or anyone. I just recently upped my calories and backed off working out so much/so hard. I lost a little over 2 lbs. after my body adjusted 2-3 weeks. It took a great deal of patience, which I suck at. haha Then, I got sick this past week, so I got to work to get off what I gained…

PCOS and very controlled Type 2 Diabetic. I don't go by net carbs, so I can't answer what mine are. My carbs are set at 45% on here. I get about 180-200 gm of carbs a day. That's worked to get my numbers all back in normal ranges, cholesterol included. Yes, it can be done. :)

Three! lol

Thank you! Adding you both. :)

Great job! Being prepared and planning ahead is key to getting healthy. Don't beat yourself up on what's already done, just learn from it, improve upon it and move ahead. :) You can do this!

I don't have that happening, so I envy you! Why shouldn't you enjoy it?! You worked and earned it! Who the hell is your trainer to say such a thing?! If your hubby had issues with it, that'd be one thing. I think I'd be putting the trainer in his place and tell him to stick to his job and not patrolling what happens.…

I have PCOS and T2 Diabetes. I'm not one that advocates low carb, just healthier eating and a lifestyle change. I'm off all Diabetic meds and am very controlled in my numbers, to the point, my A1C falls in the range of a normal person without Diabetes. That said, my total carbs in a day hit around 180-200 grams. Spread…

To each their own? I was raised not to do it, especially in mixed company or children. Although, these kids nowadays know more than I do!! However, if I'm injured or see a spider, I can't promise words won't come out of my mouth. Sorry if they do, but I'm not in my right of mind then. :)

About 6000...could've been more? I dunno. The sodium overload made it worse.

First computer phone was the ATT Tilt. Loved that one. Then, ATT decided to stop Windows phones and options were limited, so went with iPhone 3G. Was out of contract and iPhone 5 wasn't out, so the jerk talked me into a stupid Droid phone that sucked. The damn thing would power itself off/on multiple times. It locked…
