  • Actually, I prefer shorter guys. I'm not talking like freakishly small but most of the guys I've been interested in have been between 5'3"-5'10" (I'm 5'3"). I dated a guy who was 6'3" briefly and actually found it rather awkward when we'd start kissing. He'd end up kinda crouching and his knees would hit my thighs and then…
  • I'm the same way. I know they say that you should only weigh once a week but I can't help myself!
  • I use Find Me, Gluten Free religiously but don't substitute it for good sleuthing. I'm INCREDIBLY SENSITIVE and have unfortunately gotten sick from several of the chains that have gluten-free menus (PF Chang's, Bonefish Grill, Outback). My sister is much less sensitive than me and she doesn't have to worry near as much. On…
  • I've actually had the opposite problem. I went gluten and dairy-free last year when I was diagnosed with Celiac's and I thought that would finally help me lose the weight I've put on in the last two years. But I actually started gaining more and several people I talked to have had the same experience. Replacement breads,…
  • Calorie Goal: 1540 (I admit that I usually go over though) Current Weight: 162 lbs. Goal Weight: 130 lbs. Height: 5'3"
  • I was similar in that I was thin as a rail as a child and my early teens. I am a fast food junkie and haven't ever had good eating habits but as a kid, my metabolism was high enough to handle it. I probably gained about 10 lbs. in college and every year after but because I was so thin it really wasn't a problem until about…
  • I'm so proud of all of you! Today I exercised for the first time in months. I've been a member of My Fitness Pal for over a year but have actually gained (not lost) almost 30 lbs. because I don't eat right. Although that is still a huge hurdle to overcome, I made a baby step by working out for 30 minutes on the Wii. Hooray…
  • I'm between 5'3"-5'4" and I'd like to be between 135-140 lbs. Ideally, 125-130 lbs. would be best for my body but if I can get down to 140 I'll be happy, considering I was 138 lbs. when I started here and now I'm almost 160! :(
  • This is something I really struggle with too. I've gained roughly 20 lbs over the last year and a lot of that has been due to chaos and uncertainty in my life. I'm with you that I feel a lot better when I work out - my problem is remembering that after a stressful day at work. Oftentimes I don't want to go if I'm not…
  • I believe i fall in the former category - need to lose the weight!
  • I'm the same way. I gave up wearing shorts a few years ago and I don't even wear sundresses much because, although they are comfortable, the non-formfitting ends up making me look like I'm pregnant. The goal? By the end of the summer be able to wear a dress without someone asking me how many months I am!

  • I'm in a very similar boat. I joined this site about a year ago because I'd gained 10-15 lbs since college and didn't like it. But I got so discouraged because it seemed impossible to stay below the 1,240 calories needed (and I'm only trying to lose 1 pound a week, not two). I kept track of my food semi-consistently even…
