If you can, log absolutely everything for a month - try to keep calories and workouts the same and don't cheat. Find out at what caloric intake you lose weight with your current workout routine and tweek everything from there.

I may be wrong, but i disagree with this. If you are going to eat larger amounts, better off done earlier in the day so your body has a chance to use the calories...

I think protein generally makes you feel fuller, but i wouldn't mind experimenting with lower protein. If you want to build muscle i think its necessary, but just lose weight, prolly not..

I eat a cheat meal once a week, especially if i'm under cals every day of the week... only 1000 cal per day? - I think that will decrease metabolism and sabotage your weight loss, but thats only my opinion:smile:

Yep it definately happens, i have the same issue - when you lose weight (assuming you lost some weight), some of it is muscle and you won't have the exact same strength as you did previously.

turn it up! you'll find stuff you normally eat might have more calories/fat or carbs than you thought, etc. Snooping around at other peoples' food diarys will help to find healthy food replacements and new food and meal ideas.

there are machines at most larger gyms that are like a bicycle for your hands (not sure what its called), its harder to get your heart rate up but it does work.

Alot of good suggestions. I would eat more than the fibre bar for the followup snack - maybe eat another meal closer to the caloric amount in your initial breakfast / first meal. Later in the day, taper off your calories and make your meals more rich in protein. Good luck...

A change from steady state cardio to high intensity interval training has helped me. Also keep the diet (higher protein) very strict will help achieve results faster. Alcohol v bad as well.

i put an individual container of sillouette 0fat yogurt in the freezer for about 5 hours yesterday, it was pretty hard so I moved it to the fridge overnight - the next morning it had a good consistency (semi-frozen) and tasted great. It didn't explode or anything either..
