  • Hi Maggie, I know how you feel, that is how I gained most of my weight.. Now if I do eat out at a fast food place, such as McDonalds I will order double cheese burger or double hamburger, have them add lots of pickles and onions, and then I will ask for a fork and not eat the bread, also I will order the fruit and walnut…
  • I would take a few bites of everything I wanted to taste, adding more veggies to my plate and not feel guilty about it. It is harder to stay on a diet if you have to deprive yourself . I would count it as a lunch or dinner.
  • Enjoy reading this thread. Walmart took out our fabric dept. how to everyone get Walmart to bring back the fabric dept. .
  • Sounds good and only 42 calories, thanks.
  • You need to want to lose weight for yourself and not for someone else . Having kids always changes any relationship, mother's give so much of their time to to their children but never take the time for their selves . There is time, you just have to take it. I have raised 3 kids and always found a reason not to take time…
  • I bought a bottle of glucomannan also know as Konjac root which I paid about $20 for the bottle but haven't tried it yet. You can read about it at: http://www.cellhealthmakeover.com/glucomannan-konjac-root-fiber.html
  • You might try this hope it works; After drizzling with olive oil and seasoning potatoes, spray pan, spread the fries out in a single layer large baking sheet. Bake the first 20 min. on 400,.then turn the fries over using a spatula, and cook for another 15-20 min. on 425. or until they are all crispy on the outside and…
  • Welcome to MFP, this is the only way I have been able to start losing weight. I've only lost 10 lbs, but I just started 3 weeks ago. And for me being on MFP is the only reason I have lost weight. It helps me be accountable for what I eat, and I never knew how many calories I actually ate daily until I joined MFP. I think…
  • Welcome to MFP, it's the only thing that seems to be working to help me lose weight. I too have tried on my own to lose weight, but it seems MFP helps me be accountable for what I eat . I didn't realize how many calories I was eating daily till I started putting it on MFP. Now 20-25 lbs. to go. Good luck and everyone here…

  • Welcome, this is my second week actually sticking to a diet. And I think it's because of MFP and it's easy way of documenting everything I eat and exercise which helps. I think you will like MFP and the information and support it gives.

  • Sounds great, I have 30 lbs. to lose, so to lose the first 10-15 would be a great motivator.
  • Good luck, I'm sure with Bootcamp and MFP the pounds will start dropping off. Feel free to add me as a friend. Welcome back.
  • Welcome, we have something in common, not being able to stick to anything past 2 weeks. But I am finding that MFP might be able to help you get past the 2 week mark. So welcome and keep us posted on how you're doing. With MFP you have all the support and help you need. You can add me as a friend if you like.
  • Welcome to MFP, I 've only been using MFP for about a week and I really like it. It helps with making you accountable for everything you eat . I have 2 little grandchildren and want to stay healthy and gain energy, as well as lose weight for my daughter's wedding this Nov. So I'm hoping that being on MFP will help me lose…
  • Hi and welcome to MFP. I am fairly new to MFP but so far I have found that it does help in accounting for everything I eat. Also it's nice that others on MFP will give you lots of support and help when you need it.
  • According to Dr. Oz on today's show said, cold water burns more calories and best to drink it in the morning, it helps your metabolism .
  • Welcome Laura.
