I just wanted to pop in and give a big shout out to everyone doing the September challenge. I have been MIA since the end of the August challenge due to some nasty health issues and could not continue with the September challenge. I am now back among the living and ready to slowly start some activity. I just wanted to…

Ahhhh, done with all challenge exercises and 300 sit ups/crunches today. Spent a good deal of the day hitting the floor. I think I am starting to see some changes! I am sooooo excited!!!! Will be flying out to Colorado early tomorrow morning to visit my daughter and see her shows (she is a professional stage actress) I…

I have already had people tell me this and I am still a ways from my goal. I am beginning to answer that I am eating very healthy and exercising and will let my body decide where it is most comfortable. It is more about maintaining the best health now, not about losing weight.

I got a bit confused and did 100 crunches, then did another 100 for the team challenge, so I have 200 to give the team today. My military presses are done. I will do my additional mile when I get up today. Also completed the 3 sets of 21's. Now off for some sleep. Make today your best day ever! Chris

I am down 114 and the feeling is incredible! There is a certain amount of body image that is difficult to overcome, like looking in the mirror. One day I see a much thinner person, the next I see a fat person. It takes a lot of positive self speak to get over this. I also have some trouble accepting compliments about my…

I just want to thank you all for being here. The care, concern and support you have given me brings tears to my eyes and has put an indescribable joy in my heart. Joining this challenge has been the best thing I have done in the past year to help with the weight loss journey. Although I have not lost weight, I have gained…

I'm banking on this! Hey, it can't hurt. My oncologist is very supportive and thrilled that I am exercising and trying to get astrong as possible.

I'm done with all of todays challenges and added 2 more miles toward our 100. We are really doing great! Chris

My sit ups and mountain climbers are done. I found a device in the PT room in which to insert my hand and arm so there was little pressure on it and was able to do the mountain climbers. I wasn't sure if it would be possible. I will get in my miles when I get home. Eating is going much better and all my water is in. Good…

I just wanted to pop in an say a big HELLO to everyone. I have been within calories but am fighting the carb monster. That stops here and now. I think it is because the scale is showing gains and it is messing with my head big time. So I rationalize eating the junk. Well, junk in = junk out and I want quality out of these…

Hello everyone as we start off week 2! My weight was up 0.8 pound this week. I exercised, walked, ran, walked more, ate under calories and got in enough water to fill a pool. I am so sorry for letting the team down. I could not have done better. On an upside I feel so good that I followed through on every challenge and I…

I totally enjoyed my day of rest! Spent most of it in the car traveling. Overall it was a lively day. I am shaking in my shoes because this mornings weight was UP 0.8 pounds! I pushed through blood, sweat and tears this week to make it a great week. Tomorrow is official weigh in and I can only pray it is down. OK, on to…

I drink them because I love them. Cold, creamy, almost milkshake-like and so much better for you. They hit the spot after a workout.

Completed and succeeded with day 5! So happy with the feeling of accomplishment. Success really does breed succes. Looking forward to today. Chris

Yesterday's challenge got me big time! I have learned to use this cast as a weapon and can actually do more with it than I thought. I put a memory foam pillow down where my left hand would hit during the down and ups and it cushioned it and let me push off a bit too. I am feeling some burning in my hand though today. For…

I am sorry you are feeling stuck and demotivated, especially when you are trying so hard. This happens to us all. Just keep logging your food and exercising. Lower your expectations about how fast you want to lose the weight. Really watch the sodium content in your foods so you don't retain water. On that line drink lots…

I know this is the Kick the Crap out of August Challenge, but today I awoke feeling like someone kicked the crap out of me! My arms and legs feel like lead and that they don't belong to me. Every one of my muscles feels achy. And then I sneezed and had to whince cause the abs screamed out ' what the heck did ya do to…

I have not hit 500 yet, Today Iwill do my absolute best! Don't want to let the team down.
-
Just finished mine too. During the last set I didn't think I could get up. Every muscle in my body felt like it was going to give out. Chris
-
Working through the up and downs. I can only do 4 at a time , but they are slowly getting done. Only 12 more to do! My water is all in and eating is right on track. Come on everyone, we are up to this! Chris

So happy to report a successful day. Met all the challenge goals. It was hard getting a walk in here today between the raindrops. The sit ups were a huge challenge! Water is just not a difficult thing for me. For tomorrow I wasn't too sure if I could do an up and down, so I just tried a few. I will admit it is not pretty…

Wonderful motivation and very inspiring. Thank you for sharing. I will ponder on this frequently today.

Looks like we are off to a terrific start for day 3! My water is in and 50 sit ups are done too. I couln't do them all at once, so just did 10 at a time. Wasn't so sure I could do even one. Who knows, by the end of the month I may be able to do 25 at a time. One can hope. I hoe you all find success and happiness in this…
