Had to go to the school to have my schedule redone, the last adviser was a moron:embarassed: ! The new one is lovely :flowerforyou: but the line was atrocious:sad: !!! THEN I had ordered my books online through what I THOUGHT was bookrenter, instead it was through the school bookstore who USES the bookrenter website.... WAY MORE $$$$ than should have been... like almost $100 more!:explode: THEN the one book I had to pick up local, they charged me almost $10 more than what their paper (posted on the wall) said, because "we aren't actually the Drury bookstore, we are %$#@#$ bookstore, those are not OUR prices." So I asked when Drury bookstore would be there... They won't be, ONLY this bookstore will be... :noway: so WHY do they list the other bookstore at ALL?????:grumble:
Okay, I am done venting... sorta... for now at least!
Classes start Next Week, as does subbing...

Thanks to the NEW and IMPROVED counselor, I will only have 1 class to do in Spring... Senior Seminar!!! And I will be a graduated person.... at least for a moment, then on to my Masters Degree!

As you may have noticed our little group is getting smaller by the minute... (If I can't EAT chocolate, at least I can quote from the movie about the worlds foremost chocolatier... WILLY WONKA!!!)
We are down to 17 team mates! We have lost 2 due to injury , 2 to non-participation , and 1 to pregnancy:bigsmile: .
This means that those left are our core group, the people who are gonna kick hiney in August!!!

Crunches done and 1.2 k done. I used to be able to run but decided that I hate it. Only do a bit I'm afraid but will be back in gym tomorrow as my daughter is in nursery and will kick *kitten*!0 -

Psychofied - I wish I had half your determination and energy to get the exercises knocked out so quickly!
Ladies,
I'm trying my best to not let you all down, but I'm really struggling with this week's exercises due to school. I will see what this afternoon brings for me and if I find it hard to get the exercise in I too will have to drop from the challenge as I don't want to keep costing the team any extra points because I can't complete the weekly team or daily challenges.
I did manage to get in 50 of the Jacks and the extra mile, but that's all I could handle yesterday. I should be able to get something done today since I do not have to report to the school campus; however, I do have to be online at 6:00pm - I'm just not sure how long I have to be signed in.
I give props to all the ladies that can knock the exercise out first thing in the morning...I just don't have the energy to climb out of bed earlier than I do.
Thank you all for being understanding and I will do my best to catch up on the exercises/crunches (I still can't commit to more than my original 200, but I will get those done between now and Sunday)0 -

ok..For Wednesday I did my daily challenge excercises....and completed my 500 crunches for Wednesday also....O man is my stomach hurting...... But I feel smaller YEA!!!!!

We are kicking BUTT on the Crunch Challenge!!! As of this morning I have 2 people who have completed over 1000 (jah1165 and myself, as we are doing the 3000) We have 5 total that are over 500 and 8 total over 400!!! Let's go ladies!!!! No one has met their goal yet, but several are coming up on it quick!!!

We have 75 out of a possible 102 points right now (regular exercise challenge and team crunch challenge) plus 20 points for 2 of us being over 1000.
Get those exercises logged in please! <---- (stern face) Message me or post it here! I am no longer going to be able to spend 1-2 hours a day tracking down YOUR point contribution to the team, my seated classes start Monday, my online class has already started, and the substitute caller is already calling me for jobs... I need each and every one of you to recommit to getting these in to me in a timely fashion!!! (I understand that there can be unforeseen circumstances, not a big deal, but day in and day out is not workable. And if we have already chatted about days away, we are good, just post as soon as you are able.) The challenge is only for 12 more days... you can do ANYTHING for 12 days!!! :bigsmile:

Week 4 and FINAL Daily Challenges
Day 1: 2 sets of 20 Windshield Wipers, 3 sets of 21’s, 2 sets of Swimmer’s Press
Day 2: 2 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps, 50 Squat Kicks, 20 Globe Jumps
Day 3: 20 Split Squat Jumps, 3 sets of 20 Wood Chops
Day 4: 40 ZigZag Hops, 3 sets of 21’s, 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Press
Day 5: 2 sets of 20 Burpees, 50 Squat Kicks, 20 Globe Jumps
Day 6: 20 Mountain Climbers, 3 Sets of 20 Wood Chops, 3 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps
Rest on Sunday (or day of choice)
Monday 8/29 - Final Days make them count! 200 Jumping Jacks, 100 Crunches, 10 burpees, 10 mountain climbers, 10 globe jumps, 10 Squat Kicks, 10 ZigZag Hops! These are a little different. IF YOU ARE ABLE, (AND YOU ARE!) do these consecutively. No stopping to rest, don’t break these into sets! I’ve designed this so you can see just how far you’ve come. Many of you would never be able to do all of these in one setting on August 1st. BUT YOU’VE Found the inner Beast, You’ve Unleashed you ROCKSTAR and you’ve become an EXERCISE MACHINE. I’m proud of you and you should be VERY proud of yourself!
Tuesday 8/30- Final Days make them count! Walk, Run, Jog a 5K that is 3.1 miles straight no stopping! As fast or as slow as you need to! YOU CAN DO IT I PROMISE! At 447lbs I did it in one hour and 15minutes with 3 hills. You can do this I promise! PUSH YOURSELF AND PROVE TO YOURSELF YOU ARE A WARRIOR!
Wednesday - REST BECAUSE THURSDAY ITS GOING TRIBALLLLL!!!!!!!!
Weekly Team Challenge 4000 team crunches, 4000 Jumping Jacks and 100 extra miles! This equals about 200 per team for crunches and jumping jacks for the week along with an extra 5 miles for each team member! The Last part of the team weekly challenge is solicit a friend or family member to join MFP and begin the next month’s journey with you. Inspire others that’s easy. The retire portion of the week is about looking back at the past 30 days. You have had to retire many old habits, many excuses and reasons why not to exercise. It’s time to retire those and move forward to the new you! YOU ARE MY INSPIRATIONS! Keep it up as we INSPIRE our circle of influence and RETIRE the old ways! Go Inspirations Go!

SEPTEMBER IS COMING! We will have two sets of exercises. I don't want this to be confusing at all. I'm thinking about using an external website to post this stuff so everyone could go to one point wherever they are. But that might be an October thing...not sure. We will have a beginner and a killer series workout. You get to decide. But push yourself. Try the killer's if your body isn't ready that just means just that you aren't ready YET! You will be though I promise. The Killer side of things will be incorporating Miss Zuzzana from Bodyrock.tv, some Wildman Training, and some tabata HIIT Training. Some of you will be like HUH? What did he just say....others will be like now we're talking. The beginners will be what we've been doing for those that are just beginning or need another month in this exercise phase! So get your self prepared because in September we're going TRIBAL! IT'S ON LIKE ROBOT DONKEY KONG!0 -

We only get 10 spots, On my team, I currently have myself, Janet, Julie, Laura, and Becca (Becca is Julie's friend)... That leaves 5 slots... Ahhhh, done with all challenge exercises and 300 sit ups/crunches today. Spent a good deal of the day hitting the floor. I think I am starting to see some changes! I am sooooo excited!!!! Will be flying out to Colorado early tomorrow morning to visit my daughter and see her shows (she is a professional stage actress) I will continue to eat under calories, do all challenges and check in as I can. No excuses here, even though the altitude will be kicking some serious hiney (9500 feet)!

Got a haircut today and brow waxing! OUCH!!! But love the results! Noticed the difference in my face from my other pictures on here.. maybe it is becoming noticeable!

Well, my school work took longer than expected so no exercise for my yesterday (I had to read a Chapter and I despise reading so it took me 2 1/2 hours to get through 20 pages), BUT I get off at 11am this morning and will be doing my exercises along with cleaning my house when I get home
So I will check in this afternoon/evening to let you know what I was able to accomplish. My husband will be working tomorrow morning and I should be able to get some exercise done then and he will be playing Golf on Sunday so I will finish what I need to while he is out :laugh:0 -

I'm calling it the "The Bushmen Series" You will be pushing and challenging your body each day by beginning with a 4 minute workout. Everyone who decides to take or attempt the Bushmen Series will need to get up 5 minutes early. Now know groaning. What's 5 minutes really? Here is a video of some things we'll be doing! This is High Intensity Interval Training for hereforth referred to as HIIT! WE"RE GOING TRIBAL FOLKS! It's going to produce some phenomenal results.

Gary6030 My Previous post is for the advanced side of September. We have folks that have less than 10lbs to lose. Their fitness level is higher. We have folks who are wanting more so I've found exercises to help them push even harder with more difficult exercises. The September Challenge will have the same style of exercises as August and as always there are modifications of each exercise along with alternatives for folks with bad joints or other injuries. So please don't get discouraged. That post was for about 10% of you. The rest will be doing the normal Tribal Challenge! YOU CAN DO THIS! As a side note maybe try one of the tabata exercises you will probably surprise yourself! Keep up the great work.
OK, September teams... I watched the video for the higher level fitness and we could totally do that!!! (a little modification here and there but not horrible!!!)
I am getting really stoked for this... my friend I go to the gym with, asked me if I was continuing on with the challenge next month and I said "Heck Ya!!!" I may get her on here yet!!!0 -
