Is anyone developing calluses under their elbows or is it just me? I had to switch to the straight arm from the forearm plank because of it. My husband pointed out that it may be because I had endometriosis and consequently, a much weaker core. While holding that position, I must be putting more of the weight through my…

I'm totally doing this. I have endometriosis so my abs are often neglected due to the amount of pain I feel when I recruit my abs for hard work. I'd like to think I can reach the diamond level by the end of June. This is daily, right?

I have been running for a year...and I still don't enjoy it. My husband is currently a student so joining a gym isn't in our budget. So I got myself a C25K app and that's how I did it. To this day, I still have bad runs and still decide to walk during my runs. The thing is to keep going and don't expect too much of…

Nice job! I'm considering racing a 10k, but for some reason, it makes me nervous. How awesome for you!!!

I didn't bother logging after breakfast. It was a bad week and a bad start to my day. Work is overwhelming and I just gave myself today for cheating. I'm stressed and tired...hence all the fun food and easter candy. I'll be up at five am for my morning run...because I have to!

I used to get frequent migraine cycles (4 days). I rarely get them now and they tend to last for less time with less intensity, though I do still get the rare 4 day cycle. I attribute this change to the fact that I started running. Before I even put much effort into changing my diet, my headaches improved because I started…

I will be fasting. What I did for Ash Wednesday was try to keep at 1200 calories. Since MFP scolds you when you go under, I eat enough to get my daily intake, but it really isn't much. I abstain from any "extras": chips, candy, soda, etc... And obviously, no meat.

I just logged in for 200 days today. I've lost 34 pounds...still going! Add me if you like.
-
That's what I do! I don't ever throw them out anymore.

I'm a 5k runner. No desire to run more than that, though I'm halfway considering a 10k in the fall...we'll see. I'm not putting that much pressure on myself for fear that I won't do it anymore. Anyway, I've got a 5k next week, at the end of April, and in mid-June. My new year's resolution was to run 7 in the year. I've…

Good for you! You look great!!!

I am SUCH an emotional eater. Fortunately, I'm in a happy place right now but if I have a bad day, I tend to become really overly emotional. It's definitely nice to know that there are others with my same weakness.

Good for you! That's awesome and you look great!!!

I'm April. I'm trying to do a pound a week so by Mother's Day it would be great to have lost 10 pounds. Current weight: 141.5 Goal: 130 (Let's shoot for a nice round number!) Thanks! This is a nice challenge!

I'll join! It's my husband's graduation! (and I want to look good in the pictures)

I have an ipod playlist that I've called "Admit it, you like running" (because I don't) and it's basically everything in my library that's faster paced and may keep me going. I run 5ks every now and again so my trick is that at the 30 minute mark (I don't run very fast), I play "Blue Monday" by New Order because I find…

I had a goal to lose 7 lbs over the six weeks. I had met my goal last week but was super worried about this past week because I was out of town and not able to control what I was eating the same way I do when I'm in my own territory. Somehow, I lost a pound and a half this week which was a shocker. I was hoping to just…

Thanks!!! : )

Thanks melanogaster! Family drama...understandable. Stick with it because even if you can't make your NYE goal, you're still working towards the larger goal and that's really all that matters.

I did it! I did it! I did it!!! GW for challenge: 153 Today's weight: 153!!! I still have 28 pounds to go to reach my overall goal, but it's nice to say that I've lost 20 pounds since starting this back in mid-September. Now to try to maintain or hopefully lose during the week ahead!

SW: 173 SW for NYE Challenge: 160 CW: 156 GW: 153 Three pounds in two weeks... here's to hoping!

That's fantastic! I have done 2 5k races and my next one is in February. I have no plans to become a running athlete. I'm content with 3 miles right now. I'd love to become motivated to run more but I think what you're doing is such a great idea. You're giving yourself plenty of time and 10 miles is a really great goal.…

SW (at time of challenge): 160 GW (for NYE): 153 CW: 156.5 Really thought I would have lost more this past week...but staying positive. Half a pound is still half a pound.

SW: 160 CW: 157 GW: 153 Very excited! Looks like I'll get there!

SW: 160 (at start of challenge) GW: 153 (by New Year's) I lost .5 lbs this week and I'm okay with that. My in-laws are in town and while I'm not going hog-wild, I'm not depriving myself. Between Thanksgiving and their need to try new restaurants every time they visit, it's been hard, but I'll have a much easier time…

I'm gonna shoot for 7lbs!

I was so proud of myself. I went running this morning and I voted all before 8am. Made it to work on time!
