When I choose fast food it's usually Wendy's Chili, its good, filling and easy on the calorie counts. A large cup is only 270 calories with 19g protein.

Good, bad or otherwise I weigh in every day to keep from going into denial. Up about 2 lbs over the holiday but now I can get back to normal and work it off.

Yeah, here's my suggestion...CHILL! You've made the right choices, changed your eating habits, remain active it will come off again relatively soon. Just maintain your healthy lifestyle.

Did shaming really work on smokers as suggested, do we not have people still standing outside to smoke? Alienating an entire group of people because their lifestyle is viewed as wrong or unhealthy is not the way to go. What sub group of the population is next?

I usually log yard work, general carpentry and housework because I generally work my a** off doing it. My home has 2 flights of stairs and those trips are accounted for on my fitbit and my yard work days usually put me over 10k steps for the day (big yard). Even though I log these activities I don't usually eat more…

I'm not a breakfast person but I recognize that I need something to get my metabolism going so I've supplemented with Slim-fast shakes. They seem to hold me over until I'm ready for a real meal around mid-day.

Wow, what a transformation. you both look great. I hope my wife and I can post similar pics next year. Right now she's down 40+ using WW and I'm down 59 on MFP. It's so much easier if you can do it together no matter what program you use.

I've lost 58lbs and my own mother hasn't even noticed. Don't get discouraged, people just either aren't very observant or are afraid to acknowledge that they recognized the fact you were fat (like it's a big secret that no one knew). Just keep in mind your not doing it for them, it's for you!

My wife is on WW and decided she had enough points last night to order a Jets Pizza for her and my son. I don't know if you've ever had a Jets 8 corner pizza but their fantastic. Even though I had calories to burn I stayed away from the pizza because I'm 3 lbs away from my next goal...Small Victories right?

It's just a term of encouragement, don't read too much into it. I take it to mean "keep eating healthy...it's working".

It was at 50lbs for me an still most people seem clueless. The important thing is I notice and I'm able to wear clothes that I haven't been able to wear in 10 years. I'm really looking forward to being able to shop for clothes in "regular" stores instead of Big and Tall!
