  • Thank you for your post......you are right , it would be nice to feel more 100% each day. Even though , I have totally adjusted amount of foods I eat , I still make unwise choices at times to make me happier for "the moment." Need to change that mindset.
  • Thank you for your response. Reading your response, makes me think maybe I am partially on the right road of thinking...........I just need to continue to amend my mindset about my choices.
  • Thanks ellie0213......yes, I do need to change my thinking on what to eat for the diabetic condition. It's not so much about amount of food anymore just choices of what to eat.
  • clifford89 Hi! Welcome to MFP! Hey don't look at the big number as that can be overwhelming. Just set smaller goals and step by step you will reach your ultimate goal. I have about that much to lose also and am also a Type 2 Diabetic. I wish you much success in your journey.:smile:

  • I've enjoyed his tapes and have a whole "library" of his tapes myself. Just curious if anyone else has found his exercise videos helpful.   • According to www.dwlz.com restaurant list.......a regular 16oz strawberry julius has 220 calories, 0fat, 1g fiber and 57 carbs. It's a good site to go to and check out different restaurants foods.
  • Don't beat yourself up over the extra calories. I read once that around TOM you can eat a few more calories and be okay. Just do the best you can everyday and you will succeed.

  • Try going to Dottie's Weight Loss zone website - dwlz.com. You can check out calories and info on food from a ton of restaurant chains to give you a better idea of your options.
  • I enjoy Leslie Sansone's walking tapes to.....it's a good workout. I'm working my way up to the three mile. I also do Richard Simmons Aerobic tapes which I especially appreciate because there are people of all sizes on his. I can relate so much better to those kind of exercisers.:happy:

  • I've always heard and read it's not good to be obsessed with the scale and just weigh-in once a week. One's body can fluctuate so much depending if ate things with high sodium so scale can be different day to day and one might get discouraged if scale goes up for a day or two. As for taking measurements I prefer to do it…
