  • A lot of women prefer older men as it's a known fact that women mature at a different rate. I knew girls when I was in my teens that preferred YOUNGER, and I could never understand why. I'm currently married to someone who is 8 years my senior, and a lot of my male friends that are my age irritate me still because they are…
  • I prefer Stevia in the Raw if you're going clean, or just buy the plant yourself from Home Depot and grow it on your windowsill!
  • Women's waists are measured above the navel, just under the rib cage, as your natural waist (used for dresses, skirts). Measured at the navel is considered mid waist, and 2 inches below that is the drop waist (used for jeans, etc)
  • Your neck is done at your voicebox, or just above where an adam's apple would be if you were male. Upper arm is done 2 inches above the elbow generally (this is a consistency thing from week to week). Waist for a woman is 3 spots: your natural waist (the smallest part of your midsection), at your navel (mid waist) and 2…
  • This. I'm looking at your diary and not seeing a lot of actual food. You also need to eat more calories. You're eating as much as I do and I'm a small female.
  • I would never give up my mountain bike. It was a lot of money for me at the time and I never thought I'd get as much use out of it as I do. It's great exercise - smooth but steady cardio. I'm doing 25-30 minutes 4 or 5 times per week as I'm starting out again, but I got up to an hour or more way back when. I will warn you…
  • Salmon is very "not fishy" but it can get expensive. Make sure you clean your stove hood after cooking the fish and IMMEDIATELY wash any pans and plates that had fish on them to help with the smell. I also like swai, that is probably the leash fishy of them all. I usually eat mine with a little pasta and fresh vegetables,…
  • Why would you even want to take an adult to Hooters? The food is terrible, nevermind even subjecting your kid to it...
  • Thank you! I did end up rushing into getting ready for the day after my workout today, that could have caused the painful swelling. I drink a lot of water and usually keep my sodium under 1,500mg. I will also try to drink cranberry juice more often again, I was a while ago and I stopped for some reason.
  • Me and my husband, on the rare times that we argue, usually do it when we're really hungry (LOL). We both get super cranky and irritable so if we decide we need to eat out, we end up yelling at each other like 'I DONT WANT TO GO THERE' or eating in, 'NO I DONT WANT THAT'. It's dumb. So dumb.
  • It's a plant based sugar so it's all natural. Just do some research on different brands because I've read a few articles that say that Truvia has some additional chemicals in it that aren't so good for you. You can also buy the plant yourself and grow it.
  • Dried fruit, fresh tomatoes, little bit of cheese, fresh apples... the possibilities are endless!
  • I mix a little in with my salads, it's a good substitute for chunks of cheese.
  • I have two replies I often like to give when arguing with someone about same sex marriage: 1) "It's a choice." And marrying the man I wanted to marry was also a choice, your point? 2) "Homosexuals can't have children." Me and my husband don't plan on having children. What's your point? That usually shuts them down…
  • It depends on the boyshort. I have thunder thighs so I find that the shorts roll up under the pants and create lines of their own, haha
  • I'm on just over 1,200 per day with around 1,000 calories burned per week in exercise. You are welcome to add me :)
  • http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/05/09/nc-county-commissioner-calls-to-revoke-illegal-same-sex-benefits/ Lovely. Just lovely. See what's happened? How many people called it?
  • Except for the many times I've seen girls with 4 cheeks hanging out in their yoga pants... let's be real, no matter what size the bikini briefs are, you *will* see the lines of them on the back of your butt. It's the nature of well, science.
  • That's all I gotta say about THAT.
  • Avoid cream sauces and get something that is tossed with a little white wine and garlic, or a tomato sauce. When you get your food, immediately ask for a box and put half of it away. Try to limit bread and select a whole grain or whole wheat pasta. Some places also offer gluten free/low carb options for pasta. Parmesan…
  • The type of meat you're eating may be your culprit. Red meat in particular has very complex proteins and can stick around in the body for days or even weeks after you've eaten it. Some people can process it fine but your stomach may just be having issues, I had similar problems until I cut back on pork and beef.
  • Take it easy on the rice and naan bread, and go for the tomato based curries instead of yoghurt.
  • I don't like artificial sweeteners, they often give me headaches and stomach troubles. If I'm going to drink a soda that is terrible for me, I'd rather have sugar. At least it comes from the ground.

  • I keep mine no higher than 1,500 on average. If I creep towards 2,000, it's usually because I've had to eat out or have something prepackaged. Medically it is recommended to go no higher than 2,500.
  • I gained a few pounds when starting up an office job but that was nearly 5 years ago and I haven't gained much since. I sort of leveled out! But I do feel you. Some days I will go out after lunch and walk next to the river for the last bit of my lunch break, just to get moving.
  • Actually, one is fructose that naturally occurs in things that grow from the ground, and the other is chemically engineered in a warehouse from corn.
  • What types of proteins are you eating?
  • This has been discussed over and over again on the boards. There are healthy sugars -- naturally occurring ones like those in fruit -- and those in a candy bar, for example. There's nothing wrong with sugar from milk and fruit.
  • I would say a sushi roll that is very basic as an appetizer -- no cream cheese or fried rolls. Something like a spicy tuna roll, for example. For your main, get something vegetable based and ask for a double order, with a half order of rice. 800 calories, you'll be fine. Drink water to help with the sodium levels.
