In my opinion, all the subway breads are crap. When I go, I get a spinach based salad. You can have any of their sandwiches made into a salad.

I looked around and researched several ended up settling on the ACSM certification. It seemed to be reputable and well respected and reasonably priced compared to some of the others.

I tried the free sample I got several months ago. Just made me pee a lot. I mean a lot. Didn't see any increase in weight loss other than water weight which came back after a week. Complete waste of money.

I think a good multi vitamin and fish oil are proven winners. Whey protein is also great. I take a few more things but those three are the ones that are a must have for me. Someone once told me that the person that gets the most out of supplements is the guy selling them. I think that's one of the truest statements I've…

I've had a back injury from using bad form while doing squats the other day. Probably won't be doing anything until Sunday at the earliest. Learn from my pain. Pay attention to what you are doing and take this stuff seriously! I was more concerned about changing the song on my ipod than I was keeping my back in line. Next…

Went a little off plan yesterday. Was having a bad day at work so at lunch went to the gym and hoped on the tread mill. Planned to do a mile and then do some ab work. But instead I hit a mile and just kept going. Ended up doing three and a quarter. Felt great! Totally turned my day around!

Every morning and every night. It is ridiculous I know. And the daily weight fluctuations are discouraging sometimes but I am very OCD and if I don't do it I worry about it all day.

Ok three .5 mile run 7mph , min. Two 3 mile amt sessions (40 min or less)

I'm in if you'll have me! My goal for the year is one 5k a month! I've only ever ran in one and that was last Sept. So this will be a bit of a challenge.

Increase your protein intake, based on your post it looks like you are not getting much at breakfast so start there. Then also load up on veggies. Might even throw in a protein shake after your workouts.

It will be more accurate doing it like this than just lifting but it is still going to overestimate your burn. A formula for lifting burn I fould was Min lifting (including rest periods) multiplied by your weight. Then take that answer and multiply it by .039. That answer is a fairly good estimate for calories burned while…

stick with the mono. It does have to load for a couple of weeks but it's cheaper and gets the job done. If you want to increase the results you can add beta-alanine with it. recent studies have shown that the combination of creatine mono and beta-alanine have shown increased performance gains over just creatine alone.

You are going to get a lot of varying answers. Personally, I drink a post workout shake with protein and a good ration of bcaa. I don't think there is any magic time frame for when you have to ingest protein. Just as long as it is available to you at some point.

I take a men's multivitamin whey protein protein bars fish oil beta alanine creatine But, I'm planning on cutting back on this stuff. I'm slowly begining to realize that the person who get's the most benefit from supplements is the person selling it.

Only if your specific nutritional needs are for those minerals. But at least in unprocessed salts they are available where as in white salts they generally are not.

I leave it alone unless I'm asked. And then, I have a rule about honesty and *kitten* kicking. If you ask me for it you are gonna get it.

Most products labeled sea salt aren't really any different than regular salt. Look for a salt that hasn't been bleached and processed. Something like Himilayan (sp) salt. Salts like this will be much more expensive but they have much more minerals and a lot more flavor.

At first I just wanted to be under 200. Then I went and asked my doc what he thought. He said that the upper limit of my BMI was 165 but that would be too skinny. He suggested that I not worry so much about my weight and instead focus on body composition. So that's what I've been doing for the past month or two. I'm still…

THis is true. I raise chickens and all you have to have is a door on your coop that the chickens can go out of if they want and you can label "free range". It's a marketing ploy. Your best bet is to find someone with a small flock and purchase from them or just raise your own.

Get some pics of Crowley's Ridge State Park there are some great spots there. How about the Nature center in Jonesboro? Of course there's always the A&M Arch at ASU too.

Try one gram of protien per pound of lean mass. Keep your carbs below 80 a day and then only from complex carb sources. You may feel sluggish for a coupleof days while you adjust. But after that you will feel great. Also lift weights!! Resistance training is great for insulin resistance. There is a diabetic/prediabetic…

Plan your workout ahead of time. Know what your are going to do before you go in there. Go in, do it. You are there to work not for socializing, keep it serious. You can lift more than you realize. Go heavy. Push yourself. Stretch. If trying to lean out keep your heartrate up by doing supersets or intermittent short bursts…

I'm confused by your post. As you know I'm also diabetic, and control it by limiting my carbs and sugars. Those are what make my glucose go up, do they not yours?

chicken fajitas. Just eat what comes on the skillet. No chips, no tortillas. Mix in the lettuce and pico if you want. Works for me, I eat mexican frequently.

No joke. There was this guy at my gym that when he would come in everyday he'd go in the dressing room strip down to his undies then break out some black drawstring trash bags. He would rip head, arm, and leg holes in them and wear them like a shirt and diaper, using the drawstrings to cinch them up at the waist. Then put…

I had a mullet......with the back part permed. Oh and in college I went through an Hawaiian shirt phase.

Sugars, regardless of source, will have an effect on weight loss. How much will vary from person to person. You just have to tinker with them and find out how they effect you. For me, I try to limit my sugar as absolutely much as possible. But I have issues that require me to do that. Remember, there is no one cookie…

I took 3/4 a bottle of the stuff. Didn't see that it made any real difference. The 1,3D stuff is kinda scary to me though so I stopped. I was having dizzy spells after I worked out. Since I stopped taking it the dizzy spells stopped. When I stopped I immediantly gained six pounds over night. Took about 2 weeks to get that…

Like stated above. You have to drink a lot of water. Also throw in some lentils or something for some fiber
