I'm a Les Mills Certified instructor, but was thinking that I'd like to be able to teach some other general group fitness classes as well. I know that I can do this with either my Personal Trainer Cert or a General Group Fit Cert. I'm looking for suggestions for a reputible association/organization to accomplish this through, and home study is preferrable but not mandatory. I'm leaning toward Personal Trainer as I think it would give me a little more leaway, but I'm open to suggestions either way. Thoughts?

I looked around and researched several ended up settling on the ACSM certification. It seemed to be reputable and well respected and reasonably priced compared to some of the others.0

I'm looking at:
American Council on Exercise (ACE) www.acefitness.org
Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) www.afaa.com
If you are choosing a certification, look for one that is accredited by a third party such as NCCA, DETC, and CHEA, or one that has aligned itself with NBFE.0
