Sugar Intake

I recently changed my settings to include counting Sugar in my food diary. I was a little shocked that I go over the recommended level by my morning snack almost every day!
How is this limit estimated or calculated?
And I know refined sugars are bad, but is it still as bad if my sugars are mostly natural (i.e. from fruits/veggies)?
Would this affect my weight loss progress even if i'm under my calorie allowance everyday?
I'm thinking this could be having an effect on my slow weight loss... but just not sure how to change it up, as I'm really not a fan of artificial sweeteners.
Any ideas??

IMO artificial sweeteners are worse than suar itseft. I dont count the sugars from veggies/fruits. If you have hit a wall in your weight loss. You may want to up your calories a bit to get it jumpstarted again. How many calories are you eating per day??0

My goal is 1340, and I usually hit within +/- 100 of that (honestly usually about +100, rarely minus unless you cound the exercise calories!). This is supposed to be a 1.5 lb weight loss per week I believe. If I up to intake, what would be a reasonable number?
Fully agreed about the artificial sweeteners: From personal experience, and also heard it from others that artificial sweeteners actually make you feel more hungry in the long run... i noticed when I gave up drinking pop (specifically diet pepsi/coke) that I didn't have the food cravings as much. And I'm sure there are a whole host of other nasties that come from artifical sweeteners.0 -
Sugars, regardless of source, will have an effect on weight loss. How much will vary from person to person. You just have to tinker with them and find out how they effect you. For me, I try to limit my sugar as absolutely much as possible. But I have issues that require me to do that. Remember, there is no one cookie cutter diet plan that's gonna work for everyone. But if you are eating a lot of sugar you can probably replace that with foods that have a lower caloric density and do better.0
