Thata a great idea! I think I will get some vitimans!

They are gross, I generally don’t eat the exercise calories back because I don’t know how many it is exactly. I’ve heard the gym machines over estimate calories burned so still trying to figure that out. I broke my Apple Watch a couple months ago so don’t have a fitness tracker right now.

Not due for that time of the month soon but yes I also feel extra hungry around then. My diary should be public if anyone wants to look, mostly accurate since sunday. getting around 115 carbs and 105 protein a day. I need google volume eating
-
I definitely feel sore two days after lifting and my legs are sore after running a long run, abs sore after yoga or pure barre but fatigue I only feel when I am not eating enough. The reason I asked this question was because I have read on other forums that working out everyday isn't efficient. So I don't want to do more…

I have lost 20 pounds since October and I have multiple pints of Halo Top a week. Sooo Idk lol
-
Agree 2 pounds a week is aggressive and few people are disciplined enough to maintain that long term. 1 pound per week is much more reasonable. But if you feel okay then go for it!
-
Do you feel like you need more sleep when working out so much? I get about 7 hours but feel sleepy more often now. I think I will up it to 8 but my body feels fine just my a little brain fog.

1,200 sounds super low. I have used this website and it's helped better understand how much I should eat. I just set MFP to what this told me and its been working. http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html

Agreed this place is awesome.

I agree with the banking calories idea. Even if you under eat by 100 calories M-F that gives you an extra 500 for the weekend. The easiest thing for me has been to have a decent size protein packed breakfast on the weekend around 11am and then I am full until around dinner time. Might have a fruit or granola bar in between…

HALO TOP ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 Pint of the chocolate has 280 calories and one pint of the red velvet has 360! It's so freaking good and it's been a life saver when trying to eat well.

I fell off the wagon for about an entire year. I reached 215 lbs, got back on the wagon and I am down 13 pounds in about 2 months. I ONLY lift heavy weights at the gym. I never do any sort of cardio machine. I love the feeling of becoming stronger. I do however wear a fitness tracker and make it a point to reach 10k steps…
-
Hey that's definitely progress. I cant get my shorts over my thighs that I wore last summer, my goal is to be able to fit back into them next summer.
-
Wow 30 pounds that's awesome! I think I am the same way. I absolutely look chocolate, cookies, brownies, donuts etc etc. But once I start seeing the scale drop I think twice before I reach for one. I still eat all those things but not every single day like I use to. Or I'll have ONE not a whole box.
-
Yeah That's what I think I am going to do. Otherwise Ill go insane
-
Yes, exactly. My dog(s) are a lot happier getting the extra activity and way better behaved when its time to relax. sometimes Ill run with them and it's just way more fun for me to spend my time doing that then going the gym.

really sad to say that the photo is not me now. Due to hormones/medicine/lack of activity or minding my calories. I am more like the photo on the left and perhaps even a little heavier. The photo in the dressing room is what I would want to get back to by next year. And That's about a 50-60 pound difference.
-
Okay yeah, I do track all my calories, and MFP is linked to my step counter. But it always adds those calories back. Like my goal is 1600 cal a day but if I walk 10k steps it says im allotted 2,000 a day. I never eat those calories back. I try to stick to a true 1600-1800

Thanks, I was just wondering if it was enough to help me reach my weight loss goal of 21 pounds at the end of this year or if I needed more activity and how much of it.

1. I'm not at a healthy weight. 166 for my height is considered overweight for my height 2. I'm very uncomfortable at this weight. Not because of looks or a special event. I just FEEl the weight (if that makes sense) 3. I WILL come back on 9/19 and let you know. Whether I failed miserably or met my goal. Promise
-
It's not like I'm starving myself or working out 24/7. Geeze people. I doubt any one person on this thread lives a perfectly healthy life.
-
Thanks for offering advice and info. (and not being stuck up about it)
-
It's just a goal. Not saying I will lose the 10 pounds but that is what I am aiming for. Nothing of what I listed seems unhealthy to me. I was already doing 1,600 cal a day. Now cutting back a little, adding exercise and extra walking throughout the day. oops meant 9/19.
-
Calorie deficit of 500-700 per. Average exercise defecit 500-700 per day. For a span of about 25 days = 25,000-35,000. (I think)
-
Actually the weight gained happended pretty quick. I was at 153 and happy but due to some medication I was temporarily on I gained 13 pounds and my clothes just don't fit right and I can't afford to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. Thats the hurry :( :( :(
-
5'8 Running 3.5-5.5 miles/lifting weights 15,000 every day on top of exercise Will not be eating exercise calories (1,200-1,500 a day) My goal is 10 but would be happy with 7+
-
My profile? I believe it says 163. I'm actually back up to 166. I don't see why I couldn't lose 7-10 pounds in that time period.

I want to try this!
-
I just found an all natural non gmo protein powder at GNC its called Pure edge super natural performance. Havent had a chance to try yet though.
