a true inspiration!! Great job, you look great!!

Age does play into it. My arms are horrible with loose skin and my legs. My surgeon told me mine would tighten a tad bit but not to expect them to tighten all the way up cause of my age. I just pray for plastic surgery one day

I eat one yogurt a day and that helps me alot!

protein bars and slim fast satisfy me. The key is self control tho, even with the band, sometimes we gotta go hungry :-(

I don't have a name for mine

I had my lap done 3/21/11. I weighed at the time 284 at 5'9. I have so far lost 65 lbs. Thru exercise about everyday and diet. I have never relied on my lap band itself. All my friends tell me how great I look, but because they are my friends I sorta just nod and say thank you, thinking they are just being nice. A year ago…

Wish Id had a prefill but my surgeon doesn't believe in that :-( You have to struggle with eating before he will fill it and then its just a little at a time, but thats ok, its given me the boost to get off my butt and make this a new lifestyle and challenge.

I had two fills since March, but only a total of 2ml so far, it takes alot of dedication and exercise still to lose it. For me at least

Its a tool yes, but till you really have it filled you are doing it on your own. I had the lapband done on March 21st of this year.
