Original mfp starting weight summer 2012 : 201lb SW (Jan 29): 150 Feb 5 - 149 Feb 12 - Feb 19- GW this month (26th Feb) 142 I've definitely lost more than 1lb this week but I'm sore all over this morning and retaining fluid in my sore muscles. Hoping next week will be 3lb to make up for it.!

Cxworx is a great class for core. There are some crunches and crunch variations, but also various planks and work with resistance tubes. I workout every day doing various weight training and cardio, and this class gets me the most in terms of feeling your abs burning!

Pretty much every day, the occasional rest day. I do 3 days of lifting, plus body balance, combat, metafit, two shbam dance classes, cxworx and running. I'm the fittest I've ever been. I'm not remotely ripped.. because I eat too much!

Shock absorber for dd plus is fantastic. I wear a 32f. As long as you get one tight enough around the ribs it's brilliant. I can jump all over the place without giving myself a black eye.

You are bang in the middle of healthy BMI (21.1, range 18.5-25) so I wouldn't get yourself too worried about it just now (worrying might make you feel unable to eat!) but I agree if you keep losing this could be detrimental. Hmmm I don't believe your doctor's analysis - you lost 9lb right and 6lb was muscle? So that means you lost 3lb of fat/water/whatever? Then how could that cause you BF% to drop from 21 to 16%??

thanks for your replies - I admire those doing this for health reasons only - I want to be healthy too especially as Im on meds that increase risk of metabolic syndrome and diabetes. But there is a big short term vanity side of it lol ;) good luck everyone!

I exercise. I know the feeling - dreadful cramps, sweats, belly looks seven months pregnant -but honestly, exercise does REALLY help and you can do it. If you really just want to curl up, then no big deal. you'll be right again in a couple days :)
