Thanks, Jeremy! I have actually read that article on Runner's World website about the breathing technique, and have been giving it a try. I do not have a peak flow meter, though when I have last used one just to see (which was probably 3 years ago now) it was pretty surprising to me how low it was. And I was feeling fine…

I love fruit myself, and I was super bummed to see my sugar grams rack up everyday from all the fruit I eat. But, for me personally, I am ok with having a little extra sugar everyday if it's coming from fruit. I just try to keep added sugars out. :-)

Thanks all! My doctor kinda sucks (I think it's time to find a new one- she doesn't really listen or seem interested in listening) so she hasn't been very concerned or responsive to my asthma questions. I have brought it up to her before, but not in the past few months that I've been REALLY exercising.

I'll try to put some no calorie sweetener in my coffee and see how that fairs. I usually am buying like Starbucks type lattes and stuff like that... easily adding 140-200 cals a day to my journal. Plus, breaking this addiction could really save me money! LOL...

I use a HRM to tell me how many calories I'm actually burning. I've never burned 1000+, but the highest I ever burned was in the 800s doing 2 cardio classes at the gym.

I love my FT4! The same thing happened to me... the treadmill says I burn less calories than my HRM.

I have a Polar HRM too... and I LOVE it. It really motivates me to burn calories!!!

There are lots and lots of websites devoted to clean eating recipes and such... that's the best way I've found!
