Jen, The only suggestion I have is to vary the exercises. For those of us starting out, doing 7 straight days of abs is a great way to pull a muscle (I pulled a lower ab muscle on day 2 and it still hurts, but I'm stubborn as well). I work 7p-7a. I usually have extra snacks with me to eat on the way home (fruit or cereal bars) with a freshly refilled bottle of water.
