I think that you should try to stick with it. I've done the 30 day shred, and the thing that I think is lacking is the stretching period after the circuit training. Stretching more (without bouncing and not for more than 10 seconds a stretch, because that tears muscle fibers) should help.

Just because I've read that sometimes, you overwork your muscles and can then delay fitness goals. I don't really know though, which is why I'm asking haha

Wow this is really encouraging! I recently took up working out to Jillian Miichaels' 30 day shred, but I've been concerned with gaining more weight than actually losing weight (due to differences in mass of muscle and fat). But this really gives me more hope! Thanks :)
